lol, better dun put hope on it..yet...but it will be definitely long before psp 2 is hacked..god knows how much sony spent on counter-hack on this thing..

Guys, I got a question. I just got a PSP-3000 and when I load UMD games, sometimes it'll make sound while loading or something. Is this normal?

again,just rumors that sony will announce it on E3 2009..plus,where is the source?don't say that you know it out of nowhere.

err..if you read that correctly..those are rumours as well..

but there is a high probability that psp 2 will be announced..but until then..nothing is confirmed about release of psp 2..

with the way they're handling the PSP,it would be an outrage for them to even announce,let alone release, a PSP2.

when they released the PS2,the PSX had tons of games
and when they released the PS3,same thing with the ps2.the games were amazing,and there were tons of them.

but look at the PSP.
yes,it has some fantastic titles(resistance retribution immediately comes to mind-stellar title) but in comparison with it's half brothers,the PSP is nowhere NEAR their catalog(in terms of games)

so if they do provide some kind of news on the PSP2,it would be obvious(at least to me)that they see the PSP as a failure

the lack of second analog stick and short battery life are the main killer of psp despite of its superior spec in comparison to dsi..the games could have been better with the inclusion of second analog button..

sony should be aware that psp 2 might their only lifeline...when i went the nearest game store..i can see the psp games are stacked in one small corner..in comparison to other platform..

however, when psp was first released, i can still remember the huge surge in popularity which is then followed a long period of dormant..

there is a dilemma. if sony want to focus on development of casual games..there is no doubt that dsi is a better machine and more established games which may be hard to surpass for sony..

for hardcore games, which is supposed to be the leverage of sony psp to win in the console war..however, it makes the battery drained faster..

here's the thing:
Sony cant admit that

a second analog stick may not be the best idea.
i have a hard to playing with one analog stick,let alone two
they'd have to redesign the thing to add a second analog stick,imo

again, unnamed inside..isn't it obvious that every website claim that they have known the stories from unnamed inside that psp2 is coming?i did google about psp2 and there is a website that even claim they have a conversation with sony's insider...im not denying,i just want to find the truth.thx for the link btw.

something more official such as an announcement in E3 would really clear the path.anything that is not official will be considered as rumors.thats my stand.

it is true..lol..if can, i think the fanbase expects sony to fit in the entire dual shock controller into psp 2..lol..i love the games of psp..too bad the full potential of those games are limited by control issues..there are a lot of good games which i read got lower review than expected due to control issues which is not their fault primarily..

anyway, i am quite skeptical over those 'unnamed sources'..this just imply that this is another rumour..the best thing to do is just waiting for e3 before making any judgement..

anyway, i discovered another problem in the sony psp 2 concept art picture..there seems to be lack of L1 and R1 buttons in the 'new' psp..>_>..

If this pic your talking bout, i thinks thats the R1, R2, L1 and L2 button... i think...

which is just plain stupid.
the developers obviously have to design their game around the given controls,yet if there is a problem with it,even if it is the CONSOLE MAKER'S fault,the developers get the flak.

the failure of game reviews in motion

+1 Resistance Retribution shows the potential but weird style of new aiming control + compability to plug & play with PS3 Controller.

Remember back when PSP 3000 rumoured to be launched & some guys leaked the photo of the PSP 3000 design?

Sony did deny about it & now after it release,Sony already being laugh-able company when comes to denying the rumour.

gamers are a laughable bunch.
i dont just mean some,but most of us.

when developers go out of their way to do something innovative,it's not accepted (who here tried the retribution+resistance 2 connectivity?i didnt..and i know many didnt either. why?most of us dont have r2 for one,and many think it's a waste of time since the psp is meant to be portable)

but yet when developers streamline their approach to game making,we'll hear all the moans and groans "oh my GAWD! its so generic! wtf! Boring! this is next gen? OMFG!!!"
