All the save data files are written to the ms0:/PSP/Savedata directory.

got to assist a mate on this. i think he is running on 3.60 m33-2 (not really sure) but he is unable to run PES2009 and FIFA 09 from the memory stick. other games are okay.
i am running on 3.71 m33-2 and okay to play PES2009.
any thoughts on should update the firmware or should change any command on the m33 recovery menu?

-cheers-

It depends on what firmware PES2009 requires to run. Your mate should upgrade to 5.00m33-4. Once done doing so, he won't face any problems loading any games.

I do not think it's a recovery mode option, seeing that it's "quite" a new game, and it most probably requires firmware higher than 3.60m33-2

guys,i'm pretty new around here, and i got a problem with my psp. so here goes.

basically when i plug it in to charge, it doesnt charge. the orange light doesnt light up. sad.gif its happened for a few months already, so what i did was just charge it via USB. but recently my girlfriend used until battery totally kong. so i'm stuck. can't charge. sad.gif

i suspect its the charging port on the psp itself, but i can't be sure. so what i wanna ask is, what is the problem with my psp actually? read a few forums, they said it could be :
1)battery
2)charger
3)charging port.

if it was the charging port, apparently i'm fcked. :S any help guys?

have you tried charging with another charger/battery?. maybe the problem lies in the charger or battery as mentioned.
but if the charging port is screwed then dont worry. there are a few people here in playstation section with experience about the psp insides.

ok based on what ive heard from my friends, they too had the same problem. It seems that it was not recommended that you play while it's charging. It tend to damage the charging port if you accidently pull or yank while its being plugged. Sometimes kancheong can damage it.

if its not the battery or the charger it still can be easily repair with parts in repair shop either in sg wang or lowyat.
