I really hope that hacking for PSP3000 will be late or slow because right now,so many developer trying to fork out to make much more new games for PSP.

Not, it just means that users can now run certain homebrew on their psp3000 and psp2000 units using the Sparta hack by Freeplay and MaTiAz. With access to a GripShift UMD (USA version), one would be able to code some homebrew for it. You cannot do anything else with it, yet. It's still in the works though. I'll ask MaTiAz for more information on it later.

well Sony might be able to fix this backdoor on the next firmware release.

dattebayo, it's not a might, but it's more like a confirmed thing. They surely will fix it, but the existing GripShift UMD's still have the patch on it, and they can do nothing about it. Newer GripShift UMD's would be patched.

I went to Queensbay Penang the other to check out prices for the PSP2000.
The shopowner told me that they don't sell PSP2000 anymore. Only 3000.
He also claimed that Sony has stopped all productions of 2000 and is concentrating only on the PSP3000.

How true is that?

hey want to know, what is the lowest market price possible for a genuine 4GB/8GB mspd ? I saw a LYN seller selling 8 GB for RM100, but earlier I received a PM from another seller selling legitimate mspd saying that RM100 can only buy 4 GB.

the trade enforcer seems didn't take any notice of that thread rolleyes.gif

Original Sandisk 8GB MSPD is selling about RM200+ in Low Yat Plaza. Sony is more expensive. Saw in SonyStyle selling RM379 for 8GB MarkII MSPD.
http://www.sonystyle.com.my/product/produc...roModel=MS-MT8G

Sandisk 8GB M2 with MSPD adapter is about RM125.

I think that 8GB for RM100 is fake MSPD but I thought someone is selling for RM80 for the fake MSPD in garage sales?

I heard from one LYN seller said that the casing can actually scratch your console, is it true ?

actually just a game foam pouch, screen protector (invisible shield would be nice) is more than enough to protect the PSP
