where did u get this info? i didn't follow psp info lately. wow, if can act like a phone, with added touch screen, it could be better than iphone.

Yea, kr898 is right. There are rumours that the psp2 is in the making. It might be out late next year, but yea, believing rumours aren't always a good thing

I have a slim psp 2006..bought in Oct/Nov 2008. The problem is it cant play downloaded games. I went to a game shop,and they said it cant be downgraded yet. They tried all the pandora-things,and still cant.
They said:wait until psp3k can be downgraded.
They said also its due to new motherboard model.

So here i am,looking dumb asking to all of u nice ppl:
What's the fate of my PSP?
Can psp 3k play downloaded games?

@ bratmikrajovic, yes as kr898 said, you need to wait until a hack is released for the psp 3000 before hacking it. You should have done a small research on psp's before buying it. I'm pretty sure many shops are still selling psp slims that are already hacked.

well if not mistaken, the psp should b running on ta-088v2..ta-088v3 is only available on mint green if not mistaken..anyone wanna try ..i think i may be able to downgrade it..

ta-088v2 just needs Dc6 and above, namely Dc7 to flash. it's pandora-able.

ta-088v3 is the only thing that is pandora proof in the slims for now.
and i'm sure the game shops are using atleast Dc7 already

heheh, you could always trade it off for a phat or an older version of slim.

I thought Sony now is in financial unfitting moment... think of the $$ they lost for every PS3 sold, in addition to global recession, furthermore it takes more than a year to complete the R&D work for a new PSP, not easy...

I inclined to believe that is a fake news.

and what i heard from my friend... they cant make the new psp with phone features (put sim card)

cos then sony ericsson sales will drop...

*Another thing I found is on one of his video showing/installing a CFW 5.02 OME. It shows his firmware being 5.21 M33-2 which he says in french (I'm Trilingual, spanish, english, and median french) tat he used a small plug that changes the number.
