and the one who's under warranty why dont go jb? if anything happen then restore it, and go claim warranty.

Whats touch pro?
im using 1st gen 32gb.
I exported them into jpeg file and sync them into ipod picture folder.
So, i dont have to look at the big screen behind me for audience purpose.
haha, wont slip through, im already used to it.

btw,
using it naked during the presentation might create some "solid" feeling.
and im going to dress up with black formal shirt, black pants, black tie and also black shoes.
and the only shiny thing is my ipod touch(for audience because they can only see the back side).

TouchPad is an app for remote controlling your dekstop from your ipod. Maybe you can use it to change the slides or pointing some points using the cursor.

Yo guys, just wanna know izzit just me or iPod Touch 2G wifi seems to be dodgy? Its connected, full strength and all but says "You are not connected to the internet?" my friend's iPhone don't seem to have any prob at the same wifi area with me O_o"

yes it's normal to have this prob, u can either reconnect the wifi or juz wait until it can connect

album art thing.. depends on how u sync ur iTunes. if everything is okay in yr iTunes, your iPod Touch should not have any problems, its if you get the album art AFTER you sync your songs into the iPods when you face that problem, at least thats what i can think of

If your problem's still around, try right click your song and click get info and get rid of those useless information

like those websites and stuff, delete those information see if it works or not

Oh ok.....Maybe i'm a new user for this sexy touch, will learn more when the JB is available, never though that the JB is that easy...

how to play mpg/avi/mpeg files in ipod touch??

VLC4Iphone But I'm not sure that it is fully compatible to iPod Touch 2nd Gen. But this .app can support firmware 2.1, you can upload via SSH or convert to (.IPA) dragging the folder (.app) to itunes. Maybe your ipod touch needs to be jb first, I'm not sure. Anyway, enjoy! Can play all video formats that vlc support.

*will stutter a bit while playing mkv (maybe in HD resolution).

Installation guide:

Make sure your iTouch/iPhone has 2.0+ firmware!
I'm using WinSCP to SSH...
This version supports streaming!!!
1. SSH into your iTouch/iPhone
2. Navigate to /private/var/stash/Applications.xxxxxx (random letters and numerals where "xxxxxx" is)
3. Drag and drop vlc4iphone.app into the Applications.xxxxxx folder
4. Set the vlc4iphone.app folders premissions to 777
5. Set all the files inside of the vlc4iphone.app folder to 777 (Just press control A to select all instead of one by one)
4. Restart your iTouch/iPhone
5. SSH into it again.
6. Navigate to /private/var/mobile/Media/vlc4iphone and drop your vids into it.
7. Your done!!!

yea, im reading the slides at my own ipod touch, but my fren control the background(scene for audience).
my school is using dell. so cant use ipod touch to control.

my problem is when u turn ur ipod sideways whr u can slide through all the albums.....some album covers just turn black...not even the question marks picture....

most importantly need to make sure can watch rmvb or not ler =P

Must jailbreak 1st..coz OpenSSH and Terminal needs to be jailbreak only can install..

dont forget to install WinSCP also to get it done
