U juz need to get an itunes account.. There r ways to register for an itunes account without the need of a credit card.. Google around to know how to do it.. I forget the link i had d..

I made around 5 itunes account for different countries and it works.. Juz make sure u have a valid address for that particular country...

1st u create ur US itune acc using the guide above
then go to itune and scrool down to the bottom
and right hand side will have top free app
just search at there

Hmm, what I mean is I want to update my firmware to 2.1 and jailbreak it. Along the way I noticed that the version need us to pay for v2.1 unless our ipod is v2.0.

Nevertheless, I've achieved in updating mine to v2.1 already.
