Sounds like 'Italian Job' to me, or is it 'Bolehland Job' tongue.gif (Aiks... how come it sounds dodgy)

I am thinking of carting a PB from Spore during my visit there. Afraid that it will be hassle to bring it home via flight. Anyone vying for AS-EQ1? Kiam, are you in for it? brows.gif

No promise but I'll try to get a unit. Probably at abt USD699. If successful, it would be the first unit in Malaysia. And pls dont ask me to carry the PB/PC13Ultra back sweat.gif

A baby into your family will definitely changed your lifestyle. I have a boy. So, could hardly have time for my movie. Moreover, busy with my work too. Few days ago, he was with my wife and me in my HT room watching Madagascar 2. Luckily, he enjoyed and sat there throughout the movie.

The sound didn't firghten him. Luckily. At -30dB.

Tun,

The rattling is normally associated with mid-bass. Some subs are tuned to have a peak at this range. And it just loses its balances upon diving below 30Hz.

Most high end sub and well-made sub have a flat tone. This will seams beautifully with your speakers. Anyway, like mys_terious said no right or wrong. It's a matter of personal preference.

I like a sub with flat curve. Easy to integrate and when it comes, it REALLY hit you. If free, come over and you ll know what I am saying.

arremie, you went after he calibrates his sub?

easternred, you watch Iron man and I watch Transformer.  rclxms.gif  Same shock.
I also have the BD "Queen live in Montreal". Maybe I will go home and try it during lunch.
Eh, you using all the 3 foams to plug all the holes?  brows.gif  Or else....

There is no setting for this sub when you sealed it unlike PC-12Plus. I wonder how would it sound after 'sealed' (just as curious as jchong)

Hi,

Sealed subs are faster but generally dont go as low - basically better for music listening.

U can use a rolled up sock as a plug, all u need is to slow down de air movement caused by the driver.

Regards
Dirtrun

Agree. I am used to the 16Hz , single port blocked setting for my SVS. Whole last week, I used 'sealed' setting with all ports blocked. For music, it is good. But, it just didn't make the cut for movies. So, I took out the 2 blocks and changed it back to 16Hz.

Yes, need to calibrate again. Quite troublesome. The setting is marked as 'Sealed'; '16Hz', '20Hz' and '25Hz'.

20Hz and 25Hz are meant for no port being blocked. Sealed setting a bit 'soft' and as you mentioned, aint as low. Perfect for music.

SVS is preparing for its Asia tour particularly Singapore. Since it is such a small company, they may be too busy with it.

We shall be seeing all range of the SVS in Singapore during the 1 day show.

I afraid that you need to look around, wasting time. So, just upload the photo and ease 'the pain' of searching it.

Come lah, bro. See how does it fare brows.gif

Better audition his sub before coming over to my pad. This way, you can tell the difference between these 2 SVS
