hey guys. wanna know if its normal for the green turtle(the normal turtle available at all petshops) to have their skin peeling off while in water? i got 2 turtles. one of em doesnt seem so keen on eating. its like that turtle is on hibernation mode. is it normal?

Erm... Skin peeling of as in? If you see floating pieces of their skin in the water, yah that's normal. smile.gif They shed skin as they grow bigger.

O.o How come not keen on eating? This is Malaysia, they don't go into hibernation. Do you let your turtles bask? Red ear sliders love to bask.

Guys, need some help, couldn't find out in books or the internet about what's wrong with 1 of my sulcatas, his eyes are closed all day, barely walks around, and his shell especially at his belly is starting to get as soft as hell, even when i just run my fingers over his belly is sinks in.

Any advice appreciated

Not too bad the price for the colony that may produce visual as soon as they lay eggs / eggs hatch !!

Unless the so call pogeny are fake (just normal not Het. ) !! LOL But I reckon worth the price just for the Albino lot alone !!

They are LTC of more than 5 yrs as claim by seller !! - No visual thus I easily convinced him to sell the whole lot to me !!! whistling.gif whistling.gif whistling.gif

My side !! As for the figure you will be suprised but I wont reveal !! Ya 5 years and no visual produced at his side (all 3 visual same sex bah !! )

If their gene work like Ball python just breed the visual back to their pogeny will/should produce visual !!
