where did you practice off jon? training mode? that's a pretty good place to start and experiment combos...=)

however, after that, you'll need to play more games online and get a feel of the lag

as horrible as this may sound, but online lag is inevitable...you won't really get a lagless game at all even if you have the US people's connection

get used to the lag and you may be able to chain up your combos easier (of course, there are those moments where the lag is just horrible and you feel like quitting right after the match is over...=p)

no, what i mean is that

even if you have a US based connection, you play among other US people too as well and you could experience button lag

anyway, wiimotes don't contribute to lag, but they perform better in lag, as most likely you don't need to have to deal with tight timings on certain moves...like if you want to use move A, but it came out as move B instead...but that most likely won't happen with a wiimote

if there's button lag, the moment i'll feel it is when i wall my opponent and combo them there...that's the place i'll most likely feel the lag as i'm using button inputs on a wiimote there...lol

haha, sounds cool...next time i deal business with him, i'll ask him to pay you a commission fee..=p

Added on April 18, 2010, 10:57 pmlol, jon, there's really a lot of improvements in your saki...she's as hell annoying to fight like other good players i've fought out there online

whenever i'm able to cripple her...i think i'm pretty much able to take out your frank with higher chance (you did make some improvements with him in this game too...the zombies on the screen is like to the left, a cart, the right, a zombie coming out, in the middle, a falling zombie...=_=")

anyway, gg's...i think i lost 4 rounds there...and nearly lost another few there...especially the one with the silver of health on my ryu and you still got 2 chars more out there with pretty good health...miracle happened in that round...lol

another round that's worth mentioning was your frank using the level 3 on my ryu...i was kinda spotting that to happen and i kinda timed my tatsumaki when you use that move...haha

i think you really can guard my karas pretty well already...it's like so difficult to score a hit on you with him...=_="

that's how a saki should be played...and you're not the first saki player to do that...XD

lol...if you play much online, those are the really irritating saki players that are considered "cheap, but good"

kinda need to find an opening in between attacks to slip inside...lol

yea, i had the thoughts that you felt pretty lag then

i was experiencing lag spikes, but not really bad lag...

still, it was laggier than usual though...XD

i did try and reset my connection after you quit, thinking that you would do the same, but you left after you quit the match...XD

oh well...anyway, i think another one of your usual habits is to megacrash whenever you are walled in...some of the attacks doesn't really need to be megacrashed...but, oh well...who knew the outcome if you didn't, right?XD

anyway, i'm on already...hopefully minimal lag and you can come now?=p

maybe streamyx wants its users to upgrade to unifi...haha (5mbps, 10mbps and 20mbps)

but gosh, the price is just sooo expensive (rm 150, 200 and 250 respectively a month)

anyway, if you heard the news, streamyx is fixing some undersea cables and hence would have caused some service disruptions?

i play with the wiimote, jon plays with the CC pro i believe

the wiimote has its limitations...but if you are really competitive...you would not like anyone using the wiimote and you would not touch the wiimote either

the only good thing about the wiimote is that:
1) it drains your batteries slower
2) it performs better in lag

sure, no worries...i'm watching some SC2 matches on youtube too...XD

maybe tomorrow i guess...wink.gif

Added on May 2, 2010, 8:10 pmso jon, you playing today?

Added on May 2, 2010, 11:36 pmhey jon, i must say that during the first few matches...the lag was pretty bad because my bro was downloading stuffs on youtube

after he stopped, the game ran pretty smooth for me already...i hope that your end is pretty fine as well

and i must say that you really did improve a lot...maybe it's because you are so used to my playing style (nola, i believe you trained hard for it too)...XD...anyway, you really are able to put up some really good fights already...was so close to winning another match if my hadoken touched your frank before he used his megabuster...XD

anyway, there was one match you dced in the middle...(the very first match)...sup with that?haha

last note...saw my bp right?went back to a 50BP rookie...XD

yo ppl, i'm ready whenever you guys are...=)

Added on May 8, 2010, 11:34 pmlol, after that last match, i dced (comm error from WFC) and i'm unable to connect back into the game

the first round that we fought, i thought that you chose a "wrong" character, but looks like you've been meaning to play roll and had practiced out with her

anyway, your roll is okay...but you play frank better...i've fought before roll saki players before too...and their rolls are a lot more annoying than yours...especially with those constant puddles of water (try and use assist more if you have a roll as your secondary char)

the round that my karas vs your roll...i used a wrong special to counter your special...lol (maybe if i used another attack/special, i may get to avoid the attack, but yea)

the one where you used your level 3 and i countered with a tatsumaki was just awesome isn't it?=p

i can't connect at all...so, i'll go sleep...haha, nitez...=)

nope, it's the invincibility frames that is the one that is taking priority

tatsumaki is a counter move, so it will have a slightly longer invincibility period when any characters are attacking

it's a little risky to use specials (physical) when in close distance against a ryu player as they can use the tatsumaki to avoid those attacks and counter it back

actually, all characters will have a short moment of invincibility frames whenever they are using there gauge attacks...but some are slightly longer such as zero's level 3 and rekkouha and ryu's tatsumaki.

yes, it's the same error...i doubt it's an update...more like probably a system/server error...which will get fixed with time...lol

ok, i'll cya ard that time...=)

Added on May 9, 2010, 11:31 pmhey jon, gg's...i dunno whether are you experiencing lag though...but i have some lag spikes here and there

the game is still playable anyway...so no worries...XD

other than that, must say that you really did improve a lot in comparison to the first time i've fought you online...your progress is just remarkable...^^b

now, i need to think of what you will do next and try to change my strategy and catch you offguard...XD

in one of the matches that the game dced...i wondered what happened...the game quits, but we are both still online

another thing about the match is that the funniest thing happened to me was that my karas won your frank with his harpoon when he just jumped in...that was like lol...

gg's...need to sleep...gotta wake up for work tml...XD
