we need to create folder named "PS3" and move the downloaded firmware inside ? then plug in the mass storage device in to ps3 then only ps3 can detect ?

forgot to add its faster also...

well, various mirrors are provided in the first post for a reason. not all ip has the same route to those servers. try the other mirrors or change your ip range
