Thanks bro....just bought last month....limited $$$$$ to buy expensive lens....planning to get nikor 105mm 2.8[vr] macro this month....any ideas where i can get one?? anyone want to sell new or 2nd??

panning for a blurred background is best done if the subject is far from the cameraman, so the radius of the panning motion remains large and the perspective of the subject stays roughly the same.

Ok i think my focus point not right for first pic cause i must've reset it, cause i took an earlier pic at home with the olive seed it look fine i've uploaded both anyway

may i point out that there's not a single point in focus? ur too near for the lens to focus, ur using a 50mm, move back a bit

try not to use the extremes of the aperture range, its softer there

impressive shot... flash not fire but pic still sharp and clear
is it because the spotlight helps on the lighting? unsure.gif

1.Move back a bit
2.DOn;t use the extreme of apertures, ok?

remember that low quality glass don't give sharp at wide open , you may down the aperture to f/2.2 ~ f/2.8 in order to get sharp dude.
try it.

@lwliam , diff lens , can't compare though.
