i tried converting 4 videos at once to give my overclocked q6600 to a max of 100%... im wondering, if this temperature is still acceptable?

hmm.....kinda high imo....
try to use less vcore or downclock it a lil more bro..... try to keep it under 65 if possible |

for me too, is kind of a high temp.
i think if u wish to stick with it, better change ur cooling. or u can follow what tkh_1001 said. |

i've downclocked back to my previous 3ghz... but according to core temp, my idle temp is still at 50+... but my asus mobo utilities shows otherwise :S... wats going on =.="
and the Vid in core temp seems to be different than in my asus mobo utilities as well =.="... i know i've set it to 1.216 ![]() |

after reading those articles you linked, i get the picture... wat i'd like to know now, is at wat temperature for core and cpu is the safest for my proc? is 70+ c for core temp considered acceptable? as for cpu, i believe 60 and below is safe.. sry im kinda new to this core temp thing >"<

normally ppl wud recommend to keep it below 65 for the core temperature |

i've settled my problem!!! just by adding additional 2 fans, i've got my core and cpu temp reduced by 10% wwwwwwww... btw, what cooling would you guys recommend?
