good luck to all you guys at bidor!

Generally short distance,  runners land on toe, longer distance, land flat or on heel.

Seen a video saying its better to land flat. cos landing on heel acts as a brake, so effectively ur slowing urself down.
tats my two cents worth.
*

not so good luck in bidor run.. sad.gif stayed at the hall for the night, really don't have a good sleep coz of the hard surface.. before run stomach stirring, wanted to go toilet but the queue is longer than waiting bus rclxub.gif so no choice had to run in deep sh*t.. literally..

after ran, get the medal and cert and gift pack, but when put aside on the corridor and go car took something, my medal and cert and gift pack gone sad.gif damm my first 21km and no medal.. sien

the only good news is that managed to clock about 2hr10min in the run, beyond my expectation, given my target about 2hr30min and lack of sleep... and given the damm hilly route going towards the waterfall...

I was late to the start, I arrived just after they flagged off the half mara runners. I got to the start just in time & the gun went off just as I was tying my shoelaces !! Anyway, I finished in 1:05.55. I guess this was better than my Larian Bomba (10K@1:04) & I've improved from 6.24/km to 5:59/km pace. Well, I hope I can break 1 hr during SCKLM.
*

yeah that's 11K time, i think u can managed sub-1hr, last time i thought also impossible..
my next target is to break sub-50min.. if i got run 10km la, now concentrating on 21km.. 42 is still a dream.. cool2.gif

seems like this year organisation of the Stand-Chart run do have lots of complaints...  i never run singapore version before...  anyone mind to comments the differences between KL vs Spore version?
*

well from what i heard from my colleague who went to SG run before, SG t-shirt collection is DAMM efficient than this...

and the medal collection totally sucks big time.. writing down ur name manually?! WTF where's the technology???

yea i agree but do not discouraged to run further just because of one lousy organizer.. look for runs by pacesetters.. they're the best! icon_rolleyes.gif
