QUOTE(ccube @ Jun 9 2009, 10:32 PM) bubb13s, dont worry. no obligation in trying out the shoe. I am not here to sell u the most expensive shoe but to sell you the right shoe for your foot bio-mechanics. if you dont feel good and there is no saucony model that fit, I rather not sell it to you. Thats my principle. I am a runner too, so getting the right pair of shoes to run is extremely important and not getting the best looking shoe to run. give me a call at 0193289083 and i can meet you at lake gdns on Sat after my run from 9-930am. ccube, i'll see when i'm available and i'll inform you. u got progrid triumph 5 womens size US 7.5 or 8? available colours?i read reviews on that model that the laces are kinda thin and wears out pretty easily...how true is that? |

QUOTE(ccube @ Jun 10 2009, 11:32 PM) Yes I hv Triumph 5 in US7.5 and 8. Can try both and see which one fit better. If Sunday is better for you than I can meet u on Sunday at Lake Gdns ard 830am to 9am. As for the laces, although its thin but pretty hardy. No complain so far abt it snapping, so dont worry. Else change to Lock Laces then. ccube,i've got something to do this sunday. how about i meet up with you after your run next sat (20/06) to test the shoe? can u bring other models as well? |

QUOTE(ccube @ Jun 18 2009, 06:11 PM) 830am shud be quite safe. wait for me at the bukit aman carpark, lake gdns. i normally park near the public toilet. i will bring the various sizes along. ccube,Added on June 18, 2009, 6:17 pm marvin, if your next run is still a training run then no prob. you may not be fully recover but the pace is easier and u can afford not to complete it. but if next week is race day, u will definitely want a fresh body with fresh legs all eager to go. one tends to run harder in a race if the body is willing to give and the reserve is there. so therefore you may not want to risk having weak legs on race day because the week before you had a high mileage run. thats the principle behind it. thanks. i'll meet u at the car park then. see u tomolo. (oh...remember i need women's shoe) This post has been edited by bubb13s: Jun 19 2009, 11:24 AM |

@ccube
are u gonna run at the lake gardens this coming sat/sun? would like to meet up with u to get the lock laces from you. can you also bring the women's shoe box as well? my sista wants to try the saucony shoes out. she needs a a US9 - 9.5. u got those sizes available? and if you don't mind, can bring the men's box too? men's sizes needed are ranging from UK10 - UK10.5 (my bf wants to try them out). i finally ran in the shoe on road for the 5km run last sun (not even 3 i feel..) it felt very good. superb cushioning. i tried running in them again yesterday on road around cyberjaya(ran about 6.5k), they were lovely. my feet din even hurt a bit. the only thing i feel i need now is a pair of thicker socks. cos my right foot rubs too much causing the balls of my foot to heat up quite a fair bit as compared to the left side. overall, i think its a very good pair of shoes i've tried to date. |

QUOTE We also acknowledge that nearly half of the participants in the 5km run took a wrong turn and ended up running a shorter route. Together with our partners, MAAU and FTAAA, we are looking into how this could have happened. nearly half of the participants took wrong turn? i think the entire group did the wrong one! there was no marking as into where to turn etc..as i approached the top of jalan cenderasari...there was a police official blocking the road to turn right there. there was no signs saying 5km follow which direction! of cos every one will have to turn left and go the wrong direction. seriously...the organizers must not expect people to memorize the route la. anyways...eventhough this was a major let down despite bearing the big name...it does not deter me from participating in future runs though. |
