QUOTE(determinism @ Apr 13 2009, 11:42 AM) i browse tru this blog http://runnerzcircle.blogspot.com and give a good information about running shoes (on-road) but still need advice from the senior and pro for trail shoes (off-road) and both pls help me guys tq for cheap and good grip shoe, no need fancy ones that cost hundreds, just get those kampung adidas. i swear by it on several trail i went, cost rm7 per pair, not comfy though. http://eatingdimsum.blogspot.com/2008/07/kampung-adidas.htmltenno : try take in powergel or powerbar lor if you need that instant. i can imagine the milk and cheese slushing inside your stomach......i know i did before....puke sensation. always give time to digest before running. i'm sure everyone here wakes up an hour earlier to eat, pangsai before running. metalfreak : cant run, heading to saigon this week. be back only next wednesday. QUOTE(determinism @ Apr 13 2009, 01:44 PM) i know this shoes i have one but without the stad, bowling brand its good for trekking, i admit but not for running, especially for mountain running. yea not meant for running flat hard roads. learned it the hard way in genting trailblazer, end up slow walking(pretty unstable actually). but with high moisture soft mud, you can actually run with them. ekekek.

QUOTE(determinism @ Apr 13 2009, 02:06 PM) thnx mate but it is not for me, its for my frens, he was doing pretty well in this sport and i wanted to give him a present to motivate him. currently he is using the power shoe and almost out already. power hiking shoes are pretty crappy mind you. i lost my sole there. NB have a few models i'm eyeing on but kinda pricey, heavy and lotsa sponges(will surely soak up water, making it even heavier)

SG thickness is slightly thicker, and much heavier.
Yes i'll be back, just because it's a flat road. Not because of the name or the goodies.
