I was utterly effing disappointed with the last ep. Like wutt.... Just like that? Mirage that was supposed go be the rival is really forgettable. Everything is too rushed

It's hardly a rush when the entire Delta is exactly just that. Overpacked with fluff and no room left for actual development other than main trio.

In a pinch? Just sing and magic happens. Over and over. Except for Messer, of course. Fanservice thru and thru, linking all Macross together with loose points that ultimately did nothing. Lady M being hinted as some sort of big shot turns out nothing.

Apart from some Draken action (FINALLY! Sweet white versions too!), everything else is just meh. Seriously, all that effort just to turn into a hive mind community? It would've been more interesting if they had just bad-ended the whole thing and have that succeeds and they all end up as Vajras so it's a Frontier prequel.

That's my rant anyways. Extremely disappointing overall when the entire run's only memorable scene was Messer dying

Hahaha kinda agree about this. In term of storyline, my opinion is SDF DYRL>Macross Plus>Macross Frontier>Macross 7>Macross 0>Macross 2 Lover Again>Macross Delta

But in term of concept, SDF>Macross 7>Macross F>Macross D>Macross Plus

Basically Macross Plus is reimagination of having Hatsune Miku in the world of macros universe as replacing the real life singer.

If its not great, it sucks. Simple as that.

Robot types aside, there simply isn't enough screen time for the Valkyrie's other modes. Most of the time it's just jets.
The 1st two episodes set the bar so high (great setup, Hayate's dancing mechs, Gerwalk, robot mode, actual life or death tensions) but the rest of it is on a downward slide.

I’m the only one that has problem with Hayate not wearing helmet?

As a Delta leader, technically Arad was doing nothing

Frontier has better musics and the integration with plot/visual is one of the best.

Yup, second half was not as exciting as the first half.
For me, the Draken III is my focus with Siegfried being the side dish.
