QUOTE(ericpires @ Jan 6 2009, 11:37 AM) Where u get tis news? QUOTE(nizam80 @ Jan 7 2009, 02:15 AM) Hi, I'm very new to this section. I'm not sure whether this is the correct section for my question. I apologize in advance if my question is inappropriate. i think u need sata to usb. Is there such thing as a cable/converter which can connect an Internal SATA 2.5" Hard Disk to a USB port of a PC? It's because I have an internal SATA 2.5" Hard Disk from a faulty PS3 and hope to completely format it using a desktop PC. Is such accessory available in Malaysia, and is it costly? Thanks a lot for your help. |

erm...i thought i posted edy...
this what i know...dont flame me if i'm wrong ya... WD nowadays using color coding to determined the HDD speed and usage...(manufactured on Nov 2008 onwards) now they got a total of 3 colors......Green, Blue and Black... i make it simple ya....Green for the power saving energy and Black for the high performance... so d new one is Blue...the Blue one is for normal usage...they just want to make the user life easier by using color coding.... so after this there will be a total of 3 colors for WD desktop HDD (IMHO)... this is what i learned.....if wrong pls correct me...thanks... |

So, that being said, the Caviar Blue is the normal WD HDD offered last time? Does this mean if i wanted to get a normal 7200RPM hdd, i should get the Caviar Blue? And i kinda heard that the Caviar Green is 5400RPM instead of 7200RPM.
