QUOTE(aiman04 @ Nov 13 2008, 01:31 PM) Yup, it's the exact same extended edition, only they put them into one big box. Check it out: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0002VJT2C You're right, but the order is already shipping soon, can't add the OST anymore. I'll add to my other order of Matrix Trilogy BD (also cheap, £25.51 but without any extra features). cool box... mine Two Tower is R2... QUOTE(anfieldude @ Nov 13 2008, 01:36 PM) Original Sound Track IINM

QUOTE(mpyw @ Nov 13 2008, 01:48 PM) itu DVD lar...the Blu-ray will be out end of 2009..... Yup, and that blu-ray is the theatrical version only. The extended edition blu-ray will only be released on 2011, around the time the new movie, The Hobbit is released in cinemas. So, for now until 2011, I got this DVD. I don't like the theatrical version.

So, how is this superior to the others in the market? I only know Oppo is reputable for upscaling dvd only. But for BD, dunno. QUOTE(mpyw @ Nov 13 2008, 02:05 PM) I am waiting for this as my 1st stand alone BD player

Oppo's uses ABT (Anchor Bay Technology) scalar and image processing chips. I believe they are stlll planning to use the chips for the BD players. As such the image quality will be great. Also the upscaling is second to none, so you will get a great BD player and a fantastic upscaling DVD player all in one..

yup! amazon UK is the way to go. BoBs went on sale upon release (yesterday nov 12) here...so it is about 2 bucks more than amazon UK. and i didnt want to risk returning the thing to UK if it doesnt work...hence the local purchase. the discs in the box are imprinted with classifications meant for UK...so I believe they are the same if you purchase them from amazon UK.
