Actually, I'll skip both. I'll wait for new release. US version is a low-bitrate video port from HDDVD, while UK version lacks lossless audio.

Check out the specs provided by House / Kannisto at AVS.

I've got this. Good transfer. Definately better than the DVD version by miles. DD5.1 compared to upcoming US version of TrueHD. Not so sure there will be a difference. Movie is character based and not action. Still sounds very good. Of course the story line/movie is excellent.

Same here. I have quite a small number of ori DVD in my collection blush.gif I don't mind paying for it if the movie is darn good or when it's worth the money spent.

just went back from watching quantum 0f s0lace.. my comment, this movie requires high powered quality projector for ppl to appreciate it in the cinemas.. too much fast action and dark scenes that it can cripple a mid-range cinema projector easily...

dont really like the storyline.. too short of a plot and.. meeeehhhh cant wait for the bluray though hehehehe

didn't you hear. its official. the blue ray code has been broken a couple of weeks back. so pirates are just calculating economies of scale now.

thats too bad. would have preferred this medium be safe. so the collection would mean something. then a few months from now, any tom d*** and harry can buy blue rays for 20 bucks a piece.

band of brothers.... drool....

unfortunately, one blank blu ray disc costs around RM60. So even if you pirate a BD, you think people will pay RM60 for a movie? Hell no, they rather buy cheap pirated DVDs for RM10.

and didn't you know why the price is around RM60? Mass production would easily reduce the cost of it. Just like DVD back then.

*In no context that I'm supporting pirated BDs or DVDs.

Don't think that his. I can only see a few BDs there.

I have 2 racks about my height for my collection, 5 tiers each. I've posted the pictures here long time ago. Half of them is, erm... you know... tongue.gif
