Callmevil, very strong color you put there, 64? shocking.gif

When I calibrate using DVE Essential disc, it asks to set at 50-55, but even that was too strong. The most I can go is 42, normally only 40. sweat.gif

From the calibration, contrast is 85, brightness 47, sharpness 40.

I think each setting varies depending in what LCD/Projector you use, no? If I'm not mistaken he is using BraviaX, looks ok to me.

From where did you get that connecting via HDMI doesn't have color setting? hmm.gif

All my LCDs are connected via HDMI and all have color setting. (Sony V & W series, Samsung 5 & 6 series)

I use YCbCr all the way. Even if all my equipment supports RGB, the source need to be in RGB as well. As far as I know, all BD movies are does not use RGB.

All those xvYCC, Deep Color, all should also be turned off unless all the equipment AND the source support them (Speed Racer was the only movie I know that supports Deep Color).

The Incredible Hulk had surprisingly high sales (well, surprising to me at least) and easily topped the Blu-ray sales chart with more than four times the volume sold of the nearest competitor, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

The BD-30 is in full-swing offer. BD-50 will be launched in Mid Nov. Price is definitely lower than Sony S350. Still waiting for the final confirmation on pricing as I believe many BD kakis here will be tempted to buy it.
