hello i'm new to this forum..in fact just register today..
after seeing so much post about the may'n concert i would like to say something from what i feel about..

i bought D-pass for the event, reason is just to attend the concert by may'n see the real person and listen to her song.. anything more than that for me is just a bonus...

probably we should think what the real reason we go for the concert, see the real person live more important or the autograph session...

for me is to see the person up close..

hope i wont get flame by this..

just joking, some dont really care about the signature, but some they really like it, if me i will laminate the signature and store it in some place.

maybe i will laminate it..to prevent the white turn to yellowish..

may i suggest all post the autograph they get from the concert... since they are 100 us... see any repeatition or not...

from the youtube video that have been posted earlier on, seems like the atmosphere are really there, especially the diamond crevass that part, nice atmosphere.

I screamed, and jumped like a man on crack. It was that good. 10/10 for performance but i wish it was longer.

What to expect? She only has a handful of songs in her portfolio. If I'm not mistaken, minus Lion (which she needs Nakajima-san to sing with her for proper justice), she sang ALL her Macross songs.

Side tracking, about the event itself... for those who went, don't ye feel that M'sia could (or maybe already done it in the past) organize a better fest than this? I mean, if not for Aniki and May'n, I would rate this fest as GIGA EPIC FAIL!!! Remember when the MC asked the question about how's the fest after the May'n concert? I could've sworn I heard crickets from outside the convention center...

'CONCERT' , I'd prefer to call it live perfomance. CONCERT is more directed as live performance conducted in a grandieur scale. The venue doen't qualify as concert venue.

I think generally the con was great and went well. But things pertaining to the celebrities make me annoyed. Organisers were very condescending towards fans and even to the media. Keep telling us "no photos and videos" every second they see us. I was frankly annoyed.

Oh someone did ask before on the cardboards. I heard only the 1st 2 guys got slight variation on their cards. Most of us got the AA FU AA, written below but the first 2 got something different. Can't remember cause the dude was waiving the thing around like mad.

Anyway, here are the 3 boards awarded to us, imported back to M'sia!

i think it's a success, well, actually i dont know coz i didnt go there, so i hv no rights to comments at the moment.

even if i go i would say it is great, coz i never went to any big event like this be4 other than PC fair yeah.....a bit of no life....

i think they say no photos and videos just to make May'n high profile? concert of coz gt camera and camcorder lar, in which concert u see dont hv camera flashing here and there?

TBH i think it's just another regular acg-con. You have your regular merchandise sellers, cosplayers (most of the ones there are better than here IMO, also less mainsteam stuff <e.g bleach naturo etc>), stage event blablabla. The interesting parts are of course performances and interviews. Other than that i spent most of my time exploring some other places

It is though, one of the better & more grand event i've been to in this region.
