Me myself a dota player as well. My gf will complain n ask me " dota so fun meh?" haha, she even tried to plays it.
But da main point here is tolerant between u n ur couple bah. Its nothing to do with da games actually, as da reason ur couple is complaining as u rather spending time no gaming than acompany her/him. Next, "da game so fun untill u ignore me?", tis kinda question will pop out in ur couple's mind doubting herself/himself.

They can spend almost 6-8hrs inside the cybercafe. I know that cuz my neighbour is freakin cybercafe, hopeless schoolkids always ponteng kelas and sit outside the cafe tunggu bukak business.

Lol, I was one of those kids who tunggu buka business. Until i found something better to do with my life anyway.

I've seen many who bring their gf to cc and i think that of kinda torture. I mean, even I do get bored stiff standing and staring at somebody playing games on hours on end. Thus dota players should learn to balance their time.

my bf is very addicted to dota as well. i've try to stop him from playing, i've try to learn how to play, i've argued with him many times b4 cos of dota, yet, he couldn't quit from playing.

so now, i just let it be. he plays his dota, i on9 shopping. once he finished his game, only we went out for meals, shoppings...

his hobby is dota, fav game is dota, what to do?!

THEY PLAY DOTA EVERYDAY, i repeat EVERYDAY.

they dont paly at home, always go CC and pay rm2 per hour.

1 day they paly about rm8-10.
i week rm70.
rm70X4=280.
28-=12=3360.

Imagine la, a active dota player spends about rm2k to 3k per year playing dota.

imagine can do what with those moeny.

And sorry, i never seen active dota player getting straight As or flying colour. alot somemore result damn poor.

Seriously, this people lack attention in society and need to resort to on9 games or in this case, LAN games to get attention.
And before u bash me bout attention, everybody in this world loves attention.

depends on wat type of cc gamer lo. heavy type or casual 1. last time i used to spend around... hmm... around RM7-15 per week.. (1 weel 1 day only) after i got gf... dam rare people will see me at cyber cafe... maybe 1 year i will go cc around 5 times? dono. been dam freaking long nvr enter cyber cafe.

around rm10-15 maybe. as for rm20-30.... i would say super rare. if everyday rm20-30, i think soon or later that guy will be dead inside cyber cafe just like how some korean died inside cyber cafe in korea.

who said all dota player always play at cc?? at least i always play at home, my friends are playing at home. come out meet once a while only we go cc.

u nvr see active dota player get straight As, neither do i. but i've seen TONES of NON dota player cant get straight As too. so wat makes u think dota is the major reason for them not to get good result?

who said people who play dota are those whom need attention?? personally talking about playing games, i would say it is each individual interest. just like some love to play badminton, some football, some basketball, and some pc games. if what u said is right, so those who play footbal/basketball/badminton all want attention??? all attention seeker? those super star beckham, owen, jordan, chong wei etc etc... those attention seeker as well?? u may say this is their career they earn money from it etc... so what makes u think dota dont hav? dota, star craft, warcraft3, all also got super star. those are their career too. a CS player from USA called K-sharp, he is earning around USD$30-40k per month, according to newspaper last year i think... his dad ask him stop CS, he told his dad "i stop CS i don get paid" lo. 4k.grubby from holland also earning big bulks for playing warcraft3. always travel here and there in whole world for competition and for holiday perhaps? but now i think grubby join mym ady. mayb mym bought him over, im not sure. so maybe should call mym.grubby or something. whatever... so wat makes u think E-sport are so much sucks compare to Sport??? they are equal...

people play for what their interest are and just that those their interest is not what u preffer so u disrespect them? how u know they wont succes in life? get good result means succes? i know some people outthere school result straight As, flying color etc, but they arent really that succes in their life. most common and most known, bill gates are flush out from his school. FLUSH OUT, totally failure in school. now he is billionaire. world wide rank 2 couple months ago when i read the news. yea, last time was rank 1 billionaire, now rank 2 from what i read couple months ago.

but as i know he used to be famous in his country. once he made this dota song, instantly he get international attention and famous to oversea now. lol...
his other song quite nice too.
