depends on wat type of cc gamer lo. heavy type or casual 1. last time i used to spend around... hmm... around RM7-15 per week.. (1 weel 1 day only) after i got gf... dam rare people will see me at cyber cafe... maybe 1 year i will go cc around 5 times? dono. been dam freaking long nvr enter cyber cafe.
around rm10-15 maybe. as for rm20-30.... i would say super rare. if everyday rm20-30, i think soon or later that guy will be dead inside cyber cafe just like how some korean died inside cyber cafe in korea.

i don quite rmber this guy bass hunter from which country ady. watch few of his interview before.. but cant remember.
but as i know he used to be famous in his country. once he made this dota song, instantly he get international attention and famous to oversea now. lol...

1) i think guys addicted to dota because it's fun, release their tense out. play online and meet new people. learn from someone. it even change the way they think. because its a strategy game.

2) depends on what type of girl his GF are. if the GF oso play dota, she will support her BF playing dota. even play LAN with him. lols.
If the GF is a gurly gurly type of GF and don't like the BF to play dota. she will sulking everytime her BF play dota la. i have a friend, she broke up with him just because the BF put dota as his priority. and didn't reply the GF text messagesss. lols.

I guess it really depends on the nature of the game I learn alot of japanese from playing japanese visual novel like air, clannad, utawarerumono and the list goes on.

How ever I doubt you can learn much from some hack and slash game like dota which has minimal conversation. When ever I find a word that I do not understand I look up the dictionary and try to study the gramma along with the pronunciation cos they do read out the phrases. During that period of time when I play those games I feel that my japanese improved alot. 

Rofl. Now, don't get me wrong, I agree with the majority of your posts, actually. DotA ISN'T the best game, not by a long shot, especially since it isn't technically a 'game' to begin with, just a WC3 map created by fans. And of COURSE it doesn't improve English... I know people who play DotA and probably can't even read the hero names -- they just look at the pictures to select, methinks. '

However. I ALSO know brilliant, cream-of-the-crop university and high school students who do play DotA too, and who play it well. Generalizations show nothing but ignorance, my friend. Some of those people will be the surgeons, specialists, lawyers, etc whom you will consult in the future. I also know a few (less, but still existant) successful careermen who DotA as well. No brain? Think again.
