Yup,SM3.0 supported.Far away better thab 9550.It's slightly better than X800pro too.

@fylon,default vcore for northwood is 1.525v.If pump up to 1.6v is still safe,do not put 1.7v. Your problem in detecting only 3.5GB is because of 32bits Windows enviroment.You can swtich to 64bits and see.

Jcsy,x800 with 12pl is almost par with 6600GT. I perfer 6600GT > than x800.

What codec are you using?

Driver is an issue.Persoanlly feel ATI cards mostly are craps.I guess i'm 2 steps late to grab them.Really got ppl reserved already.
Lag and hang are 2 different situations. I don't believe 2.4GHz northy can't play h.264 movies.

What is so suprise it old gc?They do can play HD movies well.

@bai and dlwl,fylon is correct.Aiming on 6600GT with < RM100.The 7900GS is a nice unit if have $ to invest.

@colourshadow,your mobo is using LGA775 one with DDR1 on board right?Try not to use Ai Booster to o/c.Use manual .

I'm ot confidence with the condition on the card,so not planning to get it. Some Galaxy last time in 6 series wasn't very popular.

Erm...16pipelines are nice but remember X800 is only SM2.0 supported,not 3.0. No matter how many pipeplines you unlock,i bet you can't play SM3.0 games nicely with your card.

Limited choice for old school.SM3.0 is the best choice we could have. SM4.0 need to upgrade whole set already.

I'm not sure with your mobo settings,perhaps you may get some print screen to us?

@fylon,upgrade whole set is my wish too but $$ is not allowed. Somemore now the economy in whole world is so terrible,better keep some bucks in my wallet.
