cause i checked rated Vcore should be 1.2-1.525. so when i see mostly around 1.56x so i do worried.. 
since its normal i guess its ok then.

well, thats without FAN in the room or aircond

now i open the casing liao, much better

heat sink fan is clear of dust, cleared everything 1 month ago.. even inside the PSU where all the capacitors are



now will run another 100% cpu test to see if it throttles

Seems like everyone is maxing out the juice for P4 huh.. Duh! I think i only utilized less then 50% of my rigs power. Hahah..

HIS 4670 turbo (rm329)
Corsair CGM2X2G800 (rm75)
Asus P5QL Pro (rm 310)
around rm960
the power needed below 300W so my psu still can handle.
hopefully PC fair will have sales.. so the total will cheaper.

yes, my idle is 61C

no aircond all is ok i guess.. when i use im certainly there, hence aircond and stuff...

now doing whole pc defragmentation, 80% cpu for 24 hours liao,

temp idle was 61C, loading 80% is 70C.

abit more then reach 72C max

i open casing now, dowan 2 play "close casing" coz temp reach 78C, which starts throttle..

since u have applied thermal paste, i think the issue maybe the contact between your heatsink and cpu.

if u are Prescott core......... aluminium HSF can't handle it.

I try before........ shoot till 8x when i just running war3

it the HSF problem, i try 3 HSF before

1. Intel alu HSF temp very high
2. Intel Alu with copper core HSF temp between 7x when full load w/o apply thermal paste
3. Deep cool Ice tower with thermal Paste 6x Full load with 5% OC

with that giant hfs atill >60C is abit high IMO. sometime if the hot air in your casing stay for too long, it will warm up the hfs and "reheat" back to cpu

i thought bios can disable HT ?

then shouldnt be a problem anymore, even with HT proc
