Blonely, are u going for games? To be honest, 73GT is not on par with X1650XT lo. Slightly loose a bit. Maybe around 10-15%.

7300GT = 8/5 shader
X1650XT  = 8/8 shader

But do take note, kabu's 73GT is heavily clocked version. Should be alright..

That gotta ask teh card owner Ray.. But care most is the on game performance.

skills spamming and my screen freezes...when it moving i'm kissing floor..
my x1650xt is win a little 7600gt or mayb on par as we bench it together with khaisiong...not remember clearly though...

All proven it is 256bit. Maybe it is the water set? Anyways, i ever kena once. My 1st Radeon 9800XT were fake type. only have 128bit, and core & mem speed are 1/2 of the original one.

i got kenak con once also. seller said sell me 9700Pro. But arrived in my hand, found out is 9500Pro flashed to 9700 when checked with some tools. Seller denied responsibility.

No point investing on the current Core 2 Duo stuff. Soon Intel i7 is going to replace them. So its better to skip and move on to Intel i5/i7 platform !

Yea. Imagine the read write speed on 1:1 ratio when both ram and cpu been OC to 500mhz. LG775 OC is not just the matter of pumping FSB, u can OC both ram and CPU to archive the ultimate result.

i tested encoding on my rig. all i can say is wtfomgbbqsauce. tmpgenc uses multithreading, therefore all my cores are utilised. previously on P4, each anime episode will take around 30mins to encode to mpg. now with all enhancements added while encoding, each anime only takes less than 5 mins! most likely the 8mb cache rocks!

currently running my rig 3.0GHz @ FSB1333, when idling is 2.0Ghz. the C1E and EIST still works like a charm! wonderful.

Yes, there is bottleneck and it depends on the type of game. Usually FPS games like COD4 rely on powderful gc, while RTS like CoH rely on powderful proc. I guess its the proc cache that's holding me back. Finally my older games can use AA

yes, EIST + C1E on! load 3ghz idle/less activities on 2Ghz. Rock stable.  Not hardcore OC, so it works fine since I only upped the FSB and did not touch the default multiplier. your dual core can do encoding fast also, but u lack of another 2 cores to assist in multithreading processing. have u seen benchmarks that quaddies are around 80-90% faster compared to dual during encoding?

thanks. 5 mins vs 30mins... i bet u can imagine my sheer joy  My auto raw photo processing speed by DXO Optics has increased more than 7X compared to my previous workflow. 

Long time never come to this thread    My P4 2.8ghz @ 3.1 with X800GTO still rocking ! Can play L4D at 1680x1050 medium without any lag    However encoding movies is very slow    40 mins for a show    Might be getting a new rig and pass this to my baby bro
