yes..CPC is based on click...someone click your ads...u earn...

Hardly anyone would really click on the ads, so CPC doesn't work well on my site.

actually alot of ppl DO click my picture ads..... google less ppl click.... i earning most from CPC and buffered

if people dont click on the ads .. get nth from CPC .. so how ppl earn money from nuffnang ? Through the campaign ?

That's why I prefer CPM, is like renting your site for the ads with a fixed income.

If you do well, nxt time better ads (pay higher) will be putted on your site.

But this is just a speculation as I've seen same company pay very much different in 2 ads....

if monthly rate, then yes that's fixed.

CPM is surely not fixed.

erm, CPM is not equal to fix income. CPM is base on traffics (impression to be exact). if something happen and ur site down for a month, ur CPM income is gonna be 0 also. unlike renting ad space, which is fix rate for a period of time but it also means that you have to make sure ur site must be always up no matter what happen. There are a few pro n cons.

even it is CPM, ur advertiser might have a caps for the maximum he can pay u also. if ur traffic increase 10x, then...sad lor, u will only get the maximum price he can offer u. but u can choose to take down his banner also la.

about renting ad space, actually u can do it with some promotion:

example:
1 month = rm50
3 month = rm120 (some discount will make ur advertiser happy to get u again)

if u lucky than u can enjoy ur ads buyer for 3 month liao I also curi curi learn this thing from my current company (advertising & internet marketing) since i'm one of the designer there. info above might be wrong also, as i said, i just listen and try to know what they talking above

hmm just hope i can cash out my adsense by end of next year.... if only my blog adsense earning rate like pinkywhite... 3-4 months cash out 100 USD...... lol now 3-4 months edi oni 4.91 USD... havent even get love letter yet

For some reason I felt that Adsense works better if most of the visitors are from other countries like US or UK.

Just my guess, coz majority of my visitors came from these 2 countries. Malaysian ranked 3rd.

at least now my NN earning has improved.
