If you stay long enough with Nuffnang soon it'll pay out neatly.

The way to earn big bucks from Nuffnang is write advertorials.
Those clients are pretty generous, a single post can pay RM 350-500, depends the company la. My highest record is RM 892, from Samsung WCG ads.

If you're a Glitterati member, the chances of you being chosen to write up is higher.

P/S: Can they change the "Glitterati" to some other word? I find it difficult to write & pronounce it lol.

Those bloggers close to Nuffnang will have more chances to write for 'em. Just take a look at Shaolin Tiger, KYspeaks those blogs.

Seems like they write exclusively for certain ads that we normal members (even "gila roti" laugh.gif) didn't got the offer.

So if you may, you can join more Nuffnang events, got to know a few of them more, and soon they'll be giving you chance to write up.

P/S: I've yet to attend a single Nuffnang event so far, either it clashed with my time or not interested in it.

I think it's good to know someone in the Nuffnang community. Chances are pretty high if you want to participate their future events, or some goodies in return.

Just like Adsense you'll have to be patience initially before the money rolls in. smile.gif

Didnt really join Innit that much, as I think it's just another ping community. Anyway it's still quite useful, if your post is popular one shot you'll see the soar in traffic. laugh.gif

The best to check is contact them via the Helpdesk.

You can also check your Payment History under the Earnings tab. If the status is "sent", you should receive it pretty soon.

My payment dated 20 Sept is unpaid. I'll wait til next week see whether they'll pay or not, sometimes they only pay during the first week of the month regardless of when you request the payment.

I have Gliteratti status. May I know which way of earning am I using now?
*
Certain Gliteratti members are eligible to write advertorials, which pay quite handsomely for every post.

They'll send a mail to the one you registered to Nuffnang if you've been chosen for it. If not, you'll have to try check the Advertorials tab in the Nuffnang page. Note that the due date can be a few days from the notice, or maybe a week. Sometimes you'll have to wait for quite some time before they response to the advertorial proposal you wrote.

Take note that never post up the advertorial up to your blog before they approve it.

On the other note, I find that CPM ads in Nuffnang is more fruitful, if you're not doing well in CPC. CPM pays off in bands. The more bands, the better pay.
I dunno how to explain it in depth, but for easier understanding, it's just like renting a space for the ads to put up there.
From my experience, I can say that foreign ads are more generous in bands while locals can be very stingy, less than RM1 also got!

@ scum_bag, good luck trying Adverlets, most of us here have a hard time to deal with it, much annoying compare to Nuffnang.
The common problem we all faced is they dont pay when you're eligible to do so, and always give excuses to delay it.

Although Nuffnang may be slow, but at least they pay-off nicely.

Earning money on the net is just like any other jobs around, you cant expect to rack in a lot of money in a short period of time. smile.gif

Chosen Nuffnangers meant Gliteratti members.

You can check it under metered campaign, under Type.
You can also set the Ads Preference in the Add Blog tab.

Actually I also not sure how it works out, how to determine what kind of ads they'll put up.... As long as it's paying out I'm cool with it.

Not sure bout charity ads, it sounds like it wont bring any income to the blog as after all, it's charity!

I think it has to do with the Gliteratti status la, I was quite surprise they approach me at first....

Adsense and Nuffnang both works well together. You still can maintain Gliteratti if you put Adsense along.

I used to tried Adverlets before Nuffnang, but last time Adverlets made a serious domain error, making all the blogs running Adverlets all redirected to the domain parking site. It has something to do with the Adverlets codes put in the blog.

After this happened I took down the Advertlets as I cannot afford for another blunder. Besides, the earnings stay the same for months.

Sometime after that Nuffnang introduced Gliteratti, a tactic to attract more bloggers join them and a way to deter people from Advertlets.

This happened in 2007 if not mistaken.

Maybe we should ask for a Nuffnang representative here? So that we can deal with them straight here if they didn't response through the support ticket.

Or perhaps they're too busy with the Halloween party last night? laugh.gif

once the metered campaign hit the target ( The traffic that the advertiser wan to buy), then they will pay you and your earning will mix together with your current earning.
The money stuck there, means you have no traffic that day or the ads din show up that day. =)

Erm, not quite sure whether ur statement is correct or not.
But ever since they changed the to the dynamic ads system the Earnings page update quite slow.

Supposedly with the dynamic ads system there'll be more ads on our site, which means more income, but seems like it doesn't work that way.
Last time still using the static ads, we'll get mail notification telling that site has been selected by the advertiser from when to when, which format or so. The earnings will be added once the campaign is finished.

Anyway, Nuffnang got error today. Attached the pic here, dunno what happened. rclxub.gif

I hope it'll up again soon. They rarely put the site down without a notice.

Well I guess it'll be good if they have a mirror blog like Blogger's status.blogger.com.
At least we got to know what's happening of their main site is down for no reason.

It's back up now.
Check their Nuffnang blog, they've explained the situation there.

I just hope that I can get my cheque soon. tongue.gif
