NUFFNANG CASE:

Since I cannot reveal my earnings... I have screenshot of my earnings for 8th February and 18th February.

So, I give a similar situation.

Let's say on 8th February 2009, you earn around RM15 for a buffered campaigns and it's still running.
On, 18th February, the buffered campaign suddenly changed to RM8 and it's still running.
So, they are like changing the earnings! RM 15 --> RM8. WTF...

The next thing I know was, I'm removed from Glitterati status.

If you're the blogger, won't you feel cheated?

I have this incident happened to me b4.. my case was I removed the ads in one of my blog which was in their system. The next day those earning will be cut off by 50% due to downgrading of member status (Glitterati to ordinary). So I called them up, they said I removed ads in one of my blog. So I just deleted the blog which was in their system. It took about 2-3days to get back Glitterati status and get back 50% of earning that had been cutting off.

So, did you have any other blogs in their system and you remove the ads in other blog?

BUT funny, they didn't bother to tell me to remove my blog from blog list.

His reply was:

Thank you for submitting the screenshots for our reference. We will use them to investigate your matter from our side.

However, we would also like to point out a possibility of your recently decreased earnings due to your membership's exclusivity status.
Here we provide you with the chain of events that may help explain the current situation:-

1. On the xxx you have submitted us a ticket xxx regarding the removal of our Nuffnang ad units from your blog http://hehehunter.com/

2. While you have removed the ad codes from your blog template, you still have not removed it from your Blog Manager page which causes our system crawler to continuously monitor the blog.

3. Since there are no Nuffnang ad units hosted in there, our system has marked the blog's exclusivity as 'no ads' status in our database.

4. Due to one of your registered blogs that is not exclusive, your membership was updated to 'Ordinary' and this causes your buffered earnings to be decreased to the normal rate instead.


If the explanation above proves true, we shall discuss among our team members and see if your involved earnings can be recalculated to the Glitterati payment rates instead.
In the mean time, could we trouble you to update your Blog Manager list and remove the blogs that you no longer want to host our ad units? After that, your membership status should be re-updated to 'Glitterati' in less than two days.

We shall update you with any findings or outcome from our investigation and discussion regarding your situation. We thank you for your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience.

My reply:

Thanks for informing me that removal of Nuffang ads will cause the glitterati status to be removed.

However, the main purpose was not to point out the 'decreased' earning on buffered campaigns but the 'lost' of earnings on buffered campaigns. By right, I am supposed to have around RM xxx for my DiGi LR. But due to the changes to my member exclusivity, my earnings for DiGi LR had deceased to RM x.

Anyway, I had removed http://hehehunter.com from blog list. I was made aware that 'Glitterati' status will be removed only when there are 3rd party ads from SEA, not removal of Nuffnang ads. So, I have no idea that I need to remove http://hehehunter.com from blog list as there were no other instructions given from the FAQ : "How do I remove/add Nuffnang Ads from my blog?". I hope that the FAQ will be updated as soon as possible to avoid such problem.

On the other hand, the ticket (ID: xxxxxx) was created due to the slow loading of Nuffnang ads which happens frequently especially night time. This had caused my site's traffic to degrade severely. I hope that Nuffnang will upgrade their servers in order to serve quality ads for Bloggers as this will please the Advertisers and visitors who visits the site. I would be pleased to insert back Nuffnang ad codes on my site once this problem is solved.

As for those who're experiencing decrease in earnings, I suggest try to resolve with them by mails, or if u cannot tahan, ring them at their office.

also to test how they handle such problems, as i believe it's not just individual cases, should have more people experiencing it as well.

Hey, my earnings are decreasing too !, I used to be able to earn RM1-2 a day, average of RM1.50, and additional click ads revenue every monday, but now its like RM2 every 3 days !

That is depends on how many ppl clicked on your ads and also how much advertiser offer
