got warm up and cool down
this is the first time i string at 26lbs though..
now maybe less pain coz the string lost a bit tension after so many smashing and i getting used to it
thinking deep into BG65 @ 26lbs

btw arc, what are the differences between NBG and BG series?
advantages, disadvantages?

Hi,
Have you tried Li Ning string?
There is one model 0.65mm one.....I tried it and still using now.
It's really an excellent string.
At first I thought it is not durable, but somehow already more than 1 month (I play once a week) and the string still looks ok. The repulsion of the string is good.

Just my 2cents..... smile.gif

U are saying Li-ning Ap101N?

Well this string are thin but then the feel it is stiff. When come to defense section i can say this string lose to Ashaway Zymax. Dont compare Yonex bg66 with li-ning string are different very far.

Yonex Bg 66 : Sound perfect (Ting Ting)+
Snap : Anytime when miss hit
Attack : 9/10
Control : 8.8/10
Defense : 8/10

Ashaway Zymax : Sound Sharp depend tension + lost tension in 1 month for every 1 week 3 games
Snap : Fast if miss hit just a bit.
Attack : 8.2/10
Control : 7/10
Defense : 7/10

Li-Ning string Sound : Not so sharp + lost tension quite fast in a period.
Snap : not so fast coz we measure before is above 0.65mm
Attack : 7/10
Control : 4.5/10
Defense : 4/10
okk

To me, i found that so far BG66 is suite for me only, other string seems like hard to generate the "fok fok" sound, for Li ning series, i like when i need to do drop shot or tab the ball in front of the net, its control level far better than what Yonex can provide, the reason Yonex string is not so flexible is because of the series itself, like BG80, Bg66, Bg6...all different series only can use for certain purpose except Bg66 is more flexible, unfortunately li ning give good result only for tab ball and drop shot, if you need to be more flexible, still recommend to go for bg66

just my opinionsssss

Lets arc to ans you but my personal opinion is, one is tight string can hit for hard feeling and another one is very soft feeling, more flexible to rebound

ic, i like smashing and playing in front net, and want to have soft feeling when in contact with the shuttle, what string and tension recomended

or maybe the thick grip should suffice to get a soft feeling

Hello Nick,

Yonex Bg65 is more for Hard hitter player. If ur wrist really powerful then Bg65 is the most power game.In defense section u need return harder then others model string.

Yonex Bg80 Well this string also for hard hitter but then for player which is use on the same time wrist and arm. So for defense still ok but not so good like Bg66..

Nick if u really want soft touch and attack u can try this model,

Yonex Bg9
Yonex Bg68Ti
Gosen R4X 100
Gosen Bioroot 66
Ashaway Zymax 67 or Micro Legend

If ur current tension u using 25 LBS if u strung do remember extra 1LBS from the model i stat above which is : Example
(25LBS + 1 LBS :26LBS)

BTW if ur racket it is stiff shaft then stick back same LBS u current using.
I never see u play before so im not sure recommend u what tension to strung up.
Some player just need wit low tension also can provide powerful smash or either high tension.Important u play the tension suitable for u can liau.

I need a recommendation on getting a new racket, the string and then tension together, please help

Erm budget around 100 to 200, not so expensive. Prefer it to be lighter.

What else should u guys know? Playing style?

yea what's your playing style?
that's actually very important

attacking, control, net shots

for that budget, you can go for Apacs clone series..
their original series are mostly over or around 200 but i believe they're better
