i thought u need to be aerodynamic if u want to swing fast??

Hahaha...slayer z is slim frame..bt aerodynamic nt slim, its widebody or is aerodynamic.
*
still not really understand XD
this what i understand about aerodynamic and speed. in order for u to reach better top speed (in this case, swing faster),u need to make sure the design of ur car is aerodynamic to reduce the air resistance so that u can cut the air...

U can try to see d pic z slash and bs10 frame..u wil notice that bs frame 2 side is sharp...then z slash is arn like box shape..slim frame is d frame heigt more short.
*
they look different. but according to the description and 1 review about bs10, both serve the same purpose... any better example to explain?? i too noob to notice the difference sad.gif

Ok...if u put d 2 racket 2gether,then u look at d side of that frame.do u notice that z is more slim..bt d 2 side of that frame is box..then d bs frame more fat..bt d 2 side at d frame is sharp shape..so can cut d air.box shape cant cut d air bt bcoz slim u can swing it easily.
*
so basically both technologies serve the same purpose also right??

today i went a sport studio which i normally go. surprisingly i found that AT700 is not locked to the rack so i grab it and hold it in my hand for the 1st time. what i found is.... i cant really differentiate a T200 and AT700... i found that both of them have the similar feeling. maybe because i didnt try to swing the AT700 seriously, just simply rotate my wrist

you should swing it. it's very head heavy according to reviews. unless that's a fake rolleyes.gif

i dont think is a fake 1 as the sport studio is very famous at least in selangor and a lot of its has a lot of branches located in major shopping mall in selangor... next time i will try to swing properly.

i saw this on yonex's website. apparently they only have cushion on my heel and not the front part of my foot sad.gif and for my case, i think i need the front cushion desperately since my little toe sore

yea it's string. durability and feeling compare to bg66?
*
i believe BG6 is more durable than BG66 while BG66 can produce more power.
i have read some of u giving info about string tension. for those who still dont understand, i will like u to caring out this simple experiment.
1. get a rubber band.
2. then u pull the rubber band til cresent shape. and record the X as well as the strength needed to pull it to Xcm
Attached Image
3. then move the pulled rubber band near ur skin and then release ur finger so that the rubber band will strike u. this illustrate low tension
4. use the same rubber band, now u stretch the rubber band longer to illutrate high tension. repeat 1 to 3.
5. now u compare which 1 is more pain as well as the strength require to pull the rubber band to Xcm
hopefully this help

of course stretched longer is more painful when hit our hand
but..more painful means?

from what i see, it's the opposite (no offense fantasia bro blush.gif)
u pull the rubber band a little bit which illustrate the string movement when the shuttle hits
higher tension will have smaller X while lower tension will have bigger X

it's like jumping on bed(low tension) and floor(high tension)
bed will allow higher jump (means more power)

that's the theory that i understand

btw, good effot to explain the 'trampoline effect' bro fantasia rclxms.gif
sorry if it is not what u're trying to explain blush.gif

sifu devince83 got it right ^^
QUOTE(devince83 @ Sep 20 2010, 09:40 AM)
he did mentioned to pull the rubber band X cm same for experiment 1 & 2. This make the X cm is the constant figure.
When you stretch the rubber band longer a bit, you will need more strength to pull the rubber band to X cm.

Stretching the rubber band = tension
Pulling the rubber band = strength / hitting force
In short, the higher tension of your racket the more force you need to make stronger hitting power than using low tension string.

I just give a guess on what he mean.
*
yes, u r correct notworthy.gif and the pain comparison is to understand the power produced. more pain=more power produced

your example seem like didn't hit the point, we are talking about difference rubber band now, rubber band A is 24lbs rubber band B is 28lbs, if you use N strength to pull the rubber band A to reach X, you need N+M strength to pull the rubber band B to reach X, or with N strength only you can pull the rubber band B to reach X-Y distance only.

smash power not depends on X only; a racket B 28lbs string with X = 1.8cm only could be more powerful then a racket A 24lbs string racket with X = 2.0cm, if racket B can get X = 2.0cm also then sure a lot more powerful then racket A.

indeed your example is more suitable to describe shaft stiffness, if use N strength to band the racket shaft, the smaller the X value mean the stiffer the shaft; e.g : racket A modal 1, X = 1.0cm, stiff; racket A modal 2, X = 1.5cm, mid-stiff, racket A modal C, X = 2.0cm, flex. . .
*
i use back the same rubber band to illustrate the effect of different tension in the same string and i only want to explain what happen if use higher and lower string tension, that's all smile.gif

between bg80 and bg66 string, which produce more power if use the same tension?
*
BG80 is balance between power and durability. I believe BG66 still produce more power but lower durability than BG80

because a new shuttle has the best flight ma..sure they wanna play with a better condition shuttle. and most importantly, it's sponsored rclxms.gif
when they change, the shuttle is just slightly imperfect. we can still use them to play a game before it's totally unplayable..maybe 2 games too tongue.gif
althought the AS30 can last me 2 games, the feathers are curly here and there a little bit but NO broken feathers
if it's the No 1 Tourney, feathers broken until i dont wanna use it for warm ups..no eye see
*
i also heard 2 more reasons as well. they change shuttle to change the rhythm of the game and to buy some time to rest

its very damn solid racket. apacs tantrum 200, u wont go wrong with it. hehe
