just do firmware upgrade using the lgmobile support tool (official method). i did mine and the firmware given is kp500at-00-v10d-eur-xxx-feb-14-2009. this firmware is different from the v10d that i downloaded from mylgcookie though, and my event alarm works properly now.

just make sure that ur internet connection is fast, as the firmware download size is about 99Mb (automatically downloaded via the lgmobile support tool).

im still having problem updating using the LG Tool.. it says my phone not connected.

buy 2GB microsd (sandisk )from any computer shop ( RM19 )

total = RM819.
p/s : 2gb is enuff already. 4GB is too much unless u wanna store some movie or loads of mp3

anyone notice what is the difference with this new firmware except the calculator bug?
