Dun worry, since nobody request to close yet, i will let this thread linger around whole a while.

I think we need not close it.
There will be some response from the floor from time to time.
Good place to get feedback on the 3G/4G HC on a more general level smile.gif

First of all, that car isnt mine. Haha. How much i am not sure lor. But i heard they say scratch also wont peel off one. Not the normal sticker like scratches then the whole piece peel off. It;s those hard type sticker and even kena stone also wont chip off easily one. How far is true, not sure la..

What noise is that? If it's really coming out from belt, our city only have one belt and that is fan belt. Our ori city belt model is Mitsuboi 5PK1144. Cost about RM70-Rm90 depending which SC u go. All SC price are different. Labour not included. U can get it outside from Bando belt and it will cost less than RM100 including labour charge.

Engine sound rough and loud? Do u service regularly? Power loss? How bout try cleaning your throttle body? If it doesn't help, perharps u go reset and recalibrate ur ECU at Honda SC..

To be vey frank, the IDSI is more than sufficient if you're not into mods in the future.
It will save you heaps of money 'cos the FC is great.
I've driven both IDSI and VTEC before driving the NHC.
The IDSI is very frugal on fuel smile.gif

Answring your questions in my POV..

1. Go for VTEC - you will not regret it.. IDSI is the most economical, but trust me, when you feel VTEC, you don't want to go for IDSI anymore.. of course it will kick in a few extra bucks for petrol.. but seriously, it's still one of the best mileage cars ever built.

2. not that much, i've seen some VTEC consumption lesser than those with IDSI - go for VTEC man!

3. Try teamcity (do a google search), mudah.com.my or go visit your 2nd hand car dealers and pick one for yourselves! Oh, i reckon i saw a forumer here @ garage section, automotive, trying to sell off his city for quite some time (modded, very leng!). Go ahead for that man, not sure if its idsi or vtec though.. sweat.gif

P/s : try find one with extra accessories (eg. rims, ICE, tint)

all the best thumbup.gif

FC for Vtec and idsi....when u r driving in highways....its almost the same....plus...vtec can feel the power...i mean...when going up to slope...whereas idsi will suffer a bit....and interior wise vtec better....

let say...in city drive (traffic jams, etc etc)...vtec 13.5km/l (average only)
idsi will be 14.5km/l (average only)...so not much diff in highways

er.. yea, i think that's the sound from the belt...
the SC told me the belt is a bit noisy, put some oil, then ask me to change it next time during service.
i'm not in malaysia now.. the car is with my mom.. HAHA.. hopefully she'll bring my car to service laugh.gif

i service every 5k.. never tried more than 5k tongue.gif and always in SC...
cleaning throttle body eh? how much they charge in SC?
SC never recommend me to service throttle body also...
