hi guys,
Just want to check, is it worth it to get a G1 without any Sis warranty?? My bro's using htc and dopod, and both have motherboard problem. Worried that same thing will happen with the G1, and if got no warranty......

I can only afford a used unit, currently thinking of getting either a 5800, used iphone or used G1. But like I said earlier on, I am worried about the high rate of motherboard failure in HTC phones. Can I send it to SIS for repairs if there are any problems with the phone?

naTTan,
my budget is below Rm1k, so Magic is way out of my budget.

HTC doesn't support it, so i guess not. But i never heard of much motherboard failures in the G1.

Cyanogen just updated his ROM, with 1.6. So why don't you try that, the only problem as of now is blue tooth.

Yeah but yours is pretty much simpler, that page has so many clicks on it.

Although if you do a standalone app, that would be awesome.

Man i wish CIMB has a similar app like for the Ipod for android.
