really interested in this fone, especially coz of the free apps, and the Android os..

Mine is G1, don't have much info on HTC Dream (Singtel) even though they are abang-adik.

Or you may just get one, experience it and tell us how's it!

But isnt the htc Dream and the G1 the exact same fone???

Yes, they should be the same specs, but the firmware might be a bit different due to different Telco.

No worries, those apps that you can see in the Market (access through G1) are free to use.
We won't be able to see paid apps (premium) in Malaysia as they are only available to certain countries only like US/UK ^^0

hey when is the cupcake update gonna be out??? if i buy the fone after the cupcake update is available, it would come preloaded with the fone rite???

Even though there are pre-Google-cupcake roms available, but report showing G is blocking them by prevent them download from the Market regardless paid or free apps. Lucky we still got working pre-HTC-cupcake version

It should be preloaded to the firmware once it is launched officially.

even AP companies dun provide warranty??? so wat will i do if sumthin happens to my fone like lets say lcd problem or sounds problem..

if no shop keep stock, then how to get??? must order??? i haf a fren's fren who is selling the white dream but at rm2000 so expensive.. i heard sum places selling it for around rm1800.. where to get??? lowyat???

Have you ask your fren's fren for some discount, no harm rite?? ^^

If you have heard those places selling at lower price, just go there or give them a call.
My first recommendation is look out at LYN Garage. I'm pretty sure you can find it there , most of the seller leave their contact too.
