i'm really serious going to buy this phone soon, if htc dream coming to malaysia then i wait for it la, if not, i'm going to buy G1 soon.

Added on February 8, 2009, 11:28 pmu can get it from bearbrick for rm1800 but he has to made order for 7 to 14 working days.... u have to pay rm100 deposit too... or else u get it from shop...the price is around 2k to 2.2k .... i can get for you around 2080

i notice that during d/l apps from market has a slightly new face....

G1 do come with pouch.... and normally no warranty

The market now no more 'beta' edy ^^ guess paving for paid premium apps for Android.

Btw, have u guys (unrooted) noticed any diff in battery life?

Haha, bro..what can rooted G1 do? lolz.....

Hee..hee...so far for me 5 main advantages after rooting G1:

- enable auto-rotate
- able to move in/out caches to SDcard - save system space
- able to move all apps to SDcard - although not recommend to do so ^^)
- able to kill running program, a real killing process to end any running apps - my favorite
- tether through 3G - connection need to be self monitored because it's not really secured, but it's fast enuf to p2p ^^@
- & Multi-touch lor

this G1 still no video playback function?

Current G1 is not support Video capturing, but it will.
However, it has video playback though ^^, they are few apps in the market for download.
