yes, can MMS.

the coming cupcake should have the virtual keyboard, but definitely not now.

you may try chompsms from the market, similiar to iPhone, it comes with VK by itself.

yes just download the zip file and rename it to update.zip and put it on your g1's sd card then shut down the phone, hold the home key and press power (while holding home) keep holding home until an icon pops up with an exclamation point then release home and press alt+s on the keyboard to apply the update.

Oh... you are making me *Drooling* tongue.gif
Hope to get the JF-RC33 by today or tomolo.
Update: it's OUT!! tongue.gif
Update 2: Eeek!! Auto-rotate function gone, now have to wait for the developer to update his app.

Ok, here is a tweak to look out service/process/third party apps installed that may affecting your battery life:

- download the Terminal Emulator (TE) from the market
- engage TE and you will see a "$" sign
- type "top -n 1", then press enter
- repeat steps as often as you wish to monitor the CPU%.

Try to search for UID process with CPU% more then 0% consistently, that particular service/process may be draining your battery while your G1 is idle.

Cheers ^^

Talking about battery draining, someone in the AC forum said that you can leave your GPS on and it will not effect your battery life with the provision that you press the "back" button after you are finish with the map.

Actually there are a lot of tips to maintain the battery life, that no on actually compiles.

Multi-touch is only for rooted android with cooked rom.

The official RC33 doesn't come with it.

What have you done to make the MMS work? Mind telling?
