This actually depends on how young the hamster have been fed fresh.

You will need give little bit first and gradually increase bit by bit and monitor Toph's poo. If the poo is hard like a grain of rice then it is normal. If wet and soft then it is diarrhea and you should cut down the on the fresh. Our SamSam can't take too much fresh and smoothie or he will dirty his bumbum.
*
ohh...thank u thank u... notworthy.gif notworthy.gif have to monitor poo2... hmm.gif
will note that... biggrin.gif

regarding the size of the testes, i agree that it is normal for them to be big in size.....
but how about the 'watery' part? normal oso?

Here I'm talking about 8" wheel for syrians.

For Wodent wheel feature a unique design with a safe solid running surface and a support stand without dangerous pinch areas. The semi-enclosed design and the solid rear wall also makes rodents, who are natural "wall-huggers," feel much safer as they run. That's why they like to pee and sleep inside the wheel.

For Silent Wheel (Sanko wheel), it is like normal wheel but in good quality. Can be clean easily but there's a space and stand behind the wheel for them to climb on and trying to escape from there in the tank.

Both of the price are not much different. We have 3 Wodent wheel and 3 Sanko Silent wheel right now. Sometimes will exchange their wheel when they get bored and get smarter.
*
even syrians oso pee and sleep inside the wheel?

how about cleaning? which one harder to clean? and how about durability?

Yes, syrians also will do that cos they feel comfortable with the wheel. Honestly, Sanko wheel is easier to clean as it is in one piece, you only can dissemble it with the stand and the wheel. For Wodent wheel, you can dissemble it into pieces. If part of it broken or spoiled, you can just replace that part and you also can choose your own color for it. For me, if your hamster is not a good biter, your wheel can last you very long time.
*
where can we get the parts?

I just brought back my hammy on 27th Nov and it was born on the 1st. I've a few questions:

When should I start hand taming it? It only lets me pet it at the moment, cannot lift. =/ I'm afraid it might bite.

How old does a syrian stop growing bigger? I'm now feeding it Prestige and Nutri-Smoothie, is it enough? I'm also unsure about the portions.

I'm a total beginner although I've been reading up articles online.  tongue.gif
*
i think you can start taming your hamster now....the earlier the better i think...
about the nutri-smoothie....syrian dosage 1tablespoon per day....intro slowly lor [from wat i read in prev posts]

i really seldom see Toph plays/walks/wanders around his cage la... sad.gif

always take all the food in his house...sleep...wake up...eat his food in his house...sleep...

sometimes goes to toilet to pee, then cleans himself...goes in his house....sleep again... unsure.gif

i've always waited till midnight, and most of the time he won't be awake or playing yet....
if i happen to wake up around 2-3am, sometimes can see him run in the wheel, but then...most of the time i will be very sleepy to watch him play sad.gif

and i never see him drink his water, the only sign that tells me he did is the amount of water in the bottle...

i guess even hamsters have different personalities and behaviours...huhhuh...

would like to watch him actively run/play in the cage... sad.gif

can chek her body if got any wound or something not normal...

hopefully your beanbean will stay strong...

No point waiting for others to advice as they will ask to bring to the vet ASAP or they can't excatly know what is it just by reading here.

Instead of waiting, it is better to bring to the vet or else it is too late.
*
oh, i mean help...as in about her question on 'Dr. Jenny working on weekends'...huhu sorry ya...

i agree...go vet fast2....
