Brands like Habitrail and Ocean Free has so much more corn and kuaci in it. Of course I'm not saying Prestige and Harry Hamster don't have but they have a lot more other varieties too. Like prestige got those prune like things.

Safwan, do you feed fresh? With fresh they eat less dry staple food. Won't finish so fast.

yup, i feed them with fresh veg like carrot, sawi, sengkuang and many more but i'm not give every day..

Housing & Setup:

Winter Whites, Russian Campbell Dwarf Hamsters, Roborovskis and Chinese Dwarfs can be housed in the below cages as well as a 1.5ft Plastic Guppy tank.


Syrian Hamsters need to be housed as below, with either an 8 inch Wodent Wheel or a 21cm Sanko Silent Wheel:

btw, wats the difference btween prestige mini and prestige hamster? the nutrients? or variety of food? or...? 

oya, how exactly to give a lot of fresh food?
if i put the food in the bowl, im scared Toph will hoard all of it and put it in his house...
if he does this, the fresh food might become not fresh when he eats it later on...

dats why i dun dare give him lots of fresh food...everytime i give him, i just give some, and will make sure he finish b4 giving him more.
umm...like dis got a bit hard to give lots of fresh food because i have to monitor him.

actually, if your ham treats his bowl as where he stashes his food, then ok lo. My hams stash their food in their bowl, or their smoothie dish if got. And they usually eat finish their fresh since i agak agak the amount daily.

too heavy for robos to run. get a small silent wheel will be the best. u happy ur hammi happy
if u can feel the bone. then the hammi is skinny. Toph is scare, can be Toph never have human contact until he meet u. so he will take some time to accept n gain trust from human. so it slowly he will be find, unless there are some genetic problem.  and remember this is not 1 day, 1 week or 1 mth to change. it can take u few mths.

odd_mochi: don't worry. It is non-clumping so it'll go into your Toph's system and straight out. There will be no impaction or anything.

Your Toph is biting the litter to try if it is food. It's normal la. All hams nibble and bite to feel.

Don't put the food back in the house. Put back in the bowl  ma. You're encouraging it to use the bowl, not the house.

Mixing a bit of his old toilet sand, preferably with pee and a bit of poo in it is perfect! The smell will give it the idea that the litter is not food.
