alrite, I'm just here to clarify a few things left unanswered in the last v9 thread.
first of all, the Alex bath sand sold by a forummer here is not imitation. I've compared the back of the packaging from the one sold by the forummer and another packing sold in other shops around here and they're exactly the same thing. Not different as blindly claimed by one of the suppliers. I've even compared the sand to find any difference...but it just looks exactly the same there. she asked me to post this up for reference, just in case anyone else has doubts (sorry, can't explain much here since I dun understand Chinese) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « secondly, the Prestige Hamster Crispy sold by that same forummer is a little hard to explain. Its not exactly "Prestige" but actually "Versale Laga China". This is what it actually is sold as currently, distributed in China. For those who can use Chinese on their computers, they can search Chinese websites for details. Its said that the "Prestige" packing is the old packing only. New ones are no longer using Prestige. Ingredients same, but nutrients level not sure. Photo of Versale Laga below. ![]() |

QUOTE(Tortoy @ Sep 28 2008, 10:58 PM) on..i'll try. but is it ok to give cat food? i use chipsi classic as bedding. in term of surrounding, i think there's no problem as i put them in my room..FIY, i still studying and i put my hammy juz beside my bed.. you sound like you're giving them cat food very often? I'm pretty sure its only once a while can give them...not as a replacement for staple food. Btw, I think all of us have the hammy in our rooms |

QUOTE(jovyn @ Sep 29 2008, 12:13 AM) QUOTE(jovyn @ Sep 29 2008, 12:39 AM) huh~~~jus finish plain bath my hamster....they dun like it... you shouldn't have rushed giving them a bath. The advise I think was to use slightly damp cloth. Someone mentioned earlier to use a brush but I dun know about that. I don't think we can use soap for hamsters...running all over the place, poop and surrender thier food... hopefully they feeling abit fresh now... |

QUOTE(quireyuyue @ Sep 30 2008, 11:56 AM) or, you could just take the LRT bus to Sunway Pyramid then walk from there. You need to walk (using the overhead bridge of course) to the other side of the road. Then walk towards the McDonalds there. Pet Shack is somewhere in the centre of that area. Look out for the street road...its quite a bit of walking distance to be honest. I'm also not too sure if LRT buses still go to Sunway Pyramid. |

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Sep 30 2008, 03:56 PM) Actually it is your decision to buy which ever cages or tanks that you fancy. In your reply, I can see that you really want to buy the OVO Loft but due to some members here giving the otherwise. You hit a stump. true, very true. The more "fancy" the cage is, the harder it is to clean it and fix it back up. The Zoozone series and other normal cages are the easiest to clean.Everyone here have gave their opinions regarding the OVOs and recommended others to you. You already have all the advice here. If you want something pleasing to your eyes then get the OVO Loft. Or get a zoozone1, zoozone 2 or a 2 feet guppy tank if you want something comfortable for the hamster to stay in. I can tell you that cleaning the OVO will be a hassle compared to the others recommended. Good luck! This post has been edited by Aeon_Clock: Sep 30 2008, 04:16 PM |
