i think the issue about clumping and none clumping is mainly for the toilet sand, not the bath sand. plus, i've never seen how does "clumping" looks like so can't really say.
*
the thing now is...nezumitaro said its ok for hamsters to eat a lil sand...toilet or bath sand, when they're really clueless about it. But as long as its non-clumping only. How true this is, I dunno...but its the only advice we have. Now I've tried putting a drop of water onto the sample sand and it really did "clump"...and it doesn't look like anything you want your hamster to be eating, or biting.

I check in Poslaju rates , it's only Rm34.00 for 7kgs. Unless they charge for Volumetric weight.
If I couldn't find Zoozone , I'll just settle down on Crittertrail then and maybe get a winter white instead.
Sigh..
*
if you really want, I can visit a few shops to see if got stock. You looking for ZooZone 1 or 2? Color preference? Or budget...scared that guy (or me brows.gif) overcharge. Pet Shack selling V1 for 110, V2 for 150.

the 2ft fish tank is...well basically lighter than most plastics you have at home. Its not really that heavy (until you fit in all the toys you want for the hamster tongue.gif)

I'm never the kind to support purchasing such expensive items. I don't even buy the Habitrail even though its only 70 bucks. But the Zoozone I really believe is a good buy. Its what we all should get for our hamsters. I don't quite like 2ft tanks because they're small and there's not much space for our hamsters to run around. Zoozone is sooo big...you can buy half a dozen hamsters and there's still plenty of space for them to run around biggrin.gif In fact, that's what Fluff did. They used Zoozone 1 and put all the Robo hamsters for sale there. How I wish I bought the Zoozone now tongue.gif

haha, no la. But its suitable for those who get along well. What was it again...syrians or robo? Can't remember. Even if you just get 1...what's wrong with giving him/her more space to run around? You can also fit as many toys as you want!

i really really like hamster and i would like to rare one. but parents wouldnt allow me to because they say hamster is smelly? is it true? =( or they are just giving me excuses so that i wouldnt be able to rare one.
*
solution - buy lots and lots of Ambi Pur laugh.gif
they're excuses...some people don't like pets, especially the rodent category.

it says not good for children below 5 years old because they're still developing those immune system. For us, its alright...if you want to play it safe, sand bath them often.

I believe its black charcoal...I have one at home. Doesn't really kill the smell. Its better if you get some air freshener for your room.

QUOTE(Ifrits @ Oct 7 2008, 11:40 PM)
hey ppl, i posted here about 2 days ago saying that i am giving my friend 2 hamsters for her birthday. i adore one of the ham very much and today i hand it to my friend already. but sadly to say, my friend accidently drop the one of the hamster to the floor. about the school table height. and later we notice that that ham is limping. the ham is not using his right "hand" to move around. but he is still capable of using his both"hands" to wash himself and to hold his food. i feel so sad and i just want to know if it will heal in a few days time or it is permanent? cause that ham is unable to run on its wheel. mayb can la. but its kinda limping-running. plus i heard, that hamster must run on the wheel or else it will not be healthy. so just wanna know if there is anything i can do. im deeply sadden by this eventhough the ham is not mine. T.T
*
I dropped my hamster table height twice already...coz she run so fast when I was holding her. But she doesn't have any prob like your friend's. I heard that hamsters can survive these falls because their bones are soft, unlike ours. These bones don't fracture easily. You might want to google around if there are any similar cases or good advise to use.

kuaci is full of fat...very little nutrients. My friend like you, give a lot of kuaci and less of others. Both her hamsters now really really fat...like tennis balls.

I think I may want to get a Winter White. Their bodies are so cute it's like moving marshmallows! xD

Btw, went to Pet Lover's centre in Sunway Pyramid today. So far I've been to that one eversince my growing interest in keeping small animals. They sell Winter 'Normal' and Winter 'Golden'. And they fetch a price of about 23 bucks each. Is that the average price for a WW?

*
the price is around there smile.gif
just make sure you get only one if you're planning to keep them in the same cage/tank
