Just installed Windows 7 on my Inspiron. I'll see if there's any performance difference using WDDM 1.1...

If i not mistaken can claim for defects only. if your battery got problem such as cannot last for even few minutes or does not hold charge at all, probably they exchange. it is normal over time after many cycle of charging and discharging the battery won last as long as new.

what you do during that time? playing games or just put it on idle or browsing internet. if doing extensive tasks such as playing games, battery may not last long. but if putting it on idle, only last half hour, then battery got some problem la.

I believe so. faster when opening or searching data. but increase temperature and increase battery.its spinning speed require more power. Somebody correct me. icon_rolleyes.gif

From cold start, my 1520 would boot up as normally.but after several hours,it beeps and screen blank, and says internal hard disk not found.try to reseat your hard drive and press F1 or F2 or F5 bla bla bla.
