Well, no you can't. Fresh Grad Plan is only for current DiGi Campus users and those have graduated.

Yes, 4 years validity and need to perform one reload at least once per year.

the free sms to favourite with dis balance(RM 10.00 for the SIM card with RM 10.00 reload!)
tat means we sms to those favourite numbers then we can get free sms for whole year right?
then the rm 10 will remain for whole year?
*
Yes, it is free SMS anytime. smile.gif
Ya, if you don't use it, it will remain. smile.gif
But you must perform one reload at least once per year.

i bought digi campus simpack last week... i want to know how long can i enjoy the digi campus rate...

when i registered for digi campus they ask me when is my graduation date ... so i said june 2011.... does it mean that i will be charged the digi campus rate until june 2011 or for 4 yrs from the date i registered last week?

**registered on 10 december 2009-----does means i will be charge digi campus rate until 10 dec 2013?**
*
I had the same queries too because I put my grad date as August 2010 and I called CS to ask, they told me it follows the date you activated that SIM pack and add 4 years to it. I registered mine on last year's September, so my SIM pack will expire in September 2012.
Still I'm not sure the purpose of filling up the grad date. laugh.gif
Not sure if that CS gave me the right information, wait till August 2010 and I'll inform here. laugh.gif

*
If only they allow, I'll register another line for Internet. laugh.gif
Or at least if conversion is still possible I'll convert my mum's number to DiGi Campus.
If only all these are reality. laugh.gif

Is it the graduation date is for them to offer you the DiGi Graduates Postpaid plan? This what I can think of. wink.gif
*
Probably but I really wish it will end in 2012 instead of 2010. cry.gif Around 7 months more... cry.gif

huh? ur digi campus not ending in 4 years time instead of 2010?
*
I filled in the graduation date is this year's August, registered this SIM pack in 2008 and that time DiGi hadn't introduced 4 years validity yet. Anyway, called CS last week and enquired about this matter, he told me it is 4 years from activation date. So it is September 2008 + 4 years = September 2012.
New SIM packs registration also requires to put in graduation letter, so what's the purpose of filling up that date? unsure.gif
I'm not sure the authenticity of that CS' words, I hope he is right. Anyway just behold 7 more months and I shall update here. laugh.gif

I think they did mention when they relaunch it into digi campus that the validity will be for 4 years from that date right? Pray hard la haha
*
Praying hard else I must think of a solution probably will use my super junior's details. hmm.gif
Or just use Ambassador Plan, praying hard my friend is still employed by DiGi that time. sweat.gif
Oh yea, got that SMS already: Your Freebie Accounts have been reset.

No, it has no effect on me. smile.gif
He told me if he resigns, before he does that, he will convert his line to Ambassador plan first. laugh.gif

have a question here. If I am using Dcampus' internet (RM30) every month,  do you recommend me to top up more because of the Birthday bonus?
*
No because it will deduct your freebies till it gets dried up, so what is the purpose of reloading so much money to it? Unless you don't use it for data then it is worth for it. smile.gif

"your freebie account have been reset"

means the RM2 unlimited call per day removed?
*
No la, DiGi mass sent that SMS to all DiGi prepaid users, regardless any plan.
There are some freebies that ought to expire by 31st Dec 2009. smile.gif
So no worry, it doesn't affect you. smile.gif

*
Yes, that's the ugly part of getting freebies on DiGi Campus...

Just imagine if you reload for RM200 (which what my GF did) and received the RM100 so-called free airtime. Fu*k*ng DiGi expect the user to spend that RM100 free airtime ASAP before the can continue to enjoy the Fu*k*ng DiGi Campus. Where is the logic in that? And this has been going on for a while now. It is not a new issue that users forgot to complain.

I have been using DiGi Prepaid since 1998 and my GF since 2004 (encouraged by me). I guess I have the right to Kick their @ss.
*
Last time it wasn't freebies and can be transferred, now it is free talktime and cannot be transferred. If I'm not mistaken, this theory applies for normal DiGi prepaid too, hence even the users have hit RM 1/day, will not get discounted rate too. doh.gif

Too bad la, I won't change my DiGi Campus to other telco because of the RM 30/month Internet, anyway it is just my secondary number that forever plugged into my modem.

DiGi introduced this as freebies to avoid users from misusing them. I have a friend who owns a handphone shop and has nearly 10 DiGi numbers that registered under his name, whenever his birthday approaches, he will reload as much as possible so that can be sold off to his customers as talktime. He earned quite a lot but starting from last year, he cannot do that anymore.

fruitie,

last time u mentioned that the download speed can be achieved is around 400kbps.
but so far, i can only reach 55kbps max. im using my SE K660i as my modem.
so how do i get to ur speed?
*
Yes, I'm still achieving that speed when I'm typing this message.

I didn't do anything, just called and requested them to activate my 3G and poof I got 3G speed. smile.gif

well they should hav jus make freebies untransferable.. but capped system applied.. tat all wat so hard.. i was d 1st making the fuzz out of this las 4 month ago.. but it still like tis.. after so many complain.. haiz.. so my advice.. jus keep ur money and dont need to reload so much to get the 50% reload bonus.. waste money nia..
*
Yes, I agree that they should make it capped. Too bad it just keeps deducting until your credit gets dried up. sweat.gif
Yeah, I only reload RM 30 on the last day of every month, saves all the trouble. Now my account only left with RM 0.56. laugh.gif But who cares, I don't know why but I have the feelings if I reload more it will deduct my credit more. laugh.gif

QUOTE(kalakatu @ Jan 3 2010, 07:26 PM)
ops sorry, 4got to mention, the 3G is already active. i already edited the post above but u replied before i finished tongue.gif
are u using a phone as a modem? or its practically a USB modem?
*
I'm using it on a USB modem and it should work on 3G phones as well. Try locking your network to only 3G to avoid it switches every second to GSM. I did this to my SIM card as well, I selected only 3G and I'm getting stable speed here. biggrin.gif

well, thats what i did..but this SE hp cannot be set to only 3G, its either "GSM" or "GSM & 3G", so i selected GSM & 3G.
and the coverage is under 3G (my hp shows H symbols, which indicating HSPA speed), but 55kbps is the max i can get sad.gif
perhaps the speed is capped by my phone..

can i borrow ur modem for testing? tongue.gif
*
That's weird... Wait, it is 55kbps or 55kBps? It makes big difference. tongue.gif

Can, if you are around my area. smile.gif

kbps i think..kilobyte per second biggrin.gif
well, to avoid further confusion, kindly refer to the screenshot below (current speed as im typing):

user posted image

im in shah alam..maybe can meet around USJ / Subang Jaya.
PJ also can, as i used to work at Digi Centre there before biggrin.gif

btw, digi sells their USB modem for only RM185 (1 year warranty)..price given by DSS Taipan USJ.
i think its quite cheap if we compare to the modem sold by forummer, cheapest is around RM200 IINM.
*
doh.gif Kilobyte = kB
Yes, that's the correct speed you will be getting. 1Byte = 8bits
Your download speed is nearly 50kBps = 400kbps
No problem, that's the right speed. laugh.gif
If you want 400kBps then you need 3.2Mbps line. laugh.gif

ahaha...really sorry for being ignorant..thanks for clearing up that matter ..
i never notice the difference between kB and kb after all sweat.gif
so my speed is correct lor? no need to meet up for testing biggrin.gif

anyway, how's our Dcampus internet speed compared to broadband speed?
heard some of my friends managed to achieve nearly 100kBps for the download speed
*
It's OK, many made this mistake too. laugh.gif tongue.gif
Yes, correct speed. biggrin.gif

:hmm:They used to give us the same speed as DiGi 3.5G broadband subscribers but eventually capped to 3G speed, that's nearly 384kbps. smile.gif Anyway, in my opinion, it is sufficient for a single PC user. smile.gif You need to pay RM 68 if were to get the similar package from Celcom, Celcom D68 is capped to 384kbps and has 5GB FUP.
The best thing about DiGi Campus is it has no FUP, just like its EDGE. That's the reason I threw my Celcom away when I was studying in Malacca despite knowing EDGE is much slower but I don't mind because EDGE is stable and has no limit. brows.gif
