SGU is different.. unique.. at times a bore but let's see how it goes...

For me, I still prefer the SG-1 (and Atlantis) way... simple plot, enemy that you wanna kill (and can kill) instead of an 'enemy' that's backstabbing you and you cant even strangle...

I still feel that Stargate series should be more action-packed... I mean... come on... if I wanted to explore the Stargate 'Universe' I would have gone out to buy a book/encyclopedia about it.

i love atlantis series. well, at least, we know who the enemies are from the beginning. for sg1, i like the action and such, but if i'm not mistaken, it took like 5 years to tell us that there actually other system lord; other than apophis. but still, i luve the series.

for universe, it sux. for now, currently 5 eps, the stargate only being used twice. direktor lpe ker nih ceriter stargate? i gotta tell you, they really need a bad-ass enemies now. to save the show. very the BSG la sgt...

at least BSG at 1 or 2 common enemies... here in SGU, I don't see how they're gonna have an enemy cos the blasted Ancient craft is traveling from systems to systems at light speed... so I honestly don't see how there's gonna be loads (or even enough) action to get around... I give it 1 season before SyFy calls it quits... 22 episodes of whining on a starship can be quite torturing...

SGU with more humping. I'm fine if it makes sense but they've been on this ship for a few days only. She somehow has a better connection with this dude suddenly?

I guess that's why it's hard to take the show seriously as even the characters are not. It tried to be super dramatic in ep5 but failed so badly.

I wanna see more of Ming Na's character. She played the character well, freaked out, being a civilian and all that.

When I watched the first episode, I thought it was good. But the
latter episodes turned out to be boring.

just got a hold of 10 seasons worth of SG-1 again (lost my previous DVDs) so gonna watch through it again biggrin.gif

Sanctuary (with Amanda Tapping) is also quite a nice series to watch.

Amanda Tapping still does not look that old... but Jack O' Neill (with 2 Ls (sg fans will get what i mean) ) Richard Dean Anderson looks like a fat old man already...

4 of them really really contributed a lot ... without them the SG1 wont be the same.

Don S. Davis ( George Hammond ) is dead in real life.... sigh...
