Recently had a SG-1 marathon from Season 1 to 8 (the official season). Season 9-10 isn't that good as RDA aka Mr. DIY is no longer the SG-1 team lead.

Season 1 - 5 : Pretty much set the pace for Season 6 and 7.
Season 6: The baddest bad arse in SG-1 is introduced. Like some Buaya Darat who cannot die but got no body one.
Season 7: Set the final pace for Season 6.
Season 8: Pretty much close the bad arse out from civilization. And end some story and started the so-called clones story for the Direct-to-DVD movie: SG-Continuum. Since the bad arse for that was somewhat in Season 8.

SG-1 Movie: I guess RDA is better than KR. KR looks like wood-block Anakin Skywalker of Star Wars: Episode 1

you need eye candy for the show to pull the female audience

i'm not watching it for eye candy i didn't like the first episodes but am waiting to see a few more.

That dr ross (?) are so contrived. reminds me of gaius baltar imo but not as sleazy. he seems to have his own motives and will do anything to make them happen even if it's to be evil.

Hate that medic girl who always says she can't do anything. If you're a medic you're trained almost to a level of an ER/casualty doctor.

Eli. Just ugh.

The Stargate is just a side prop.

Eli still feels like a token character. I cannot get into any of the characters. Not much Ming Na yet so hopefully she'll be the redeeming character.

Ep 3 is out. A lil boring.

Do not like how when they communicate with earth, they "switch" bodies to make it easier on viewers. Feel like the show is dumbed down so much.

recycle plot from atlantis, bunch of scientist, sg team member and some civilian stranded on some advance ancient ship or city, most of the time due to a one way trip through a stargate. life support is failing, need to explore different planet to get help

seems like they run out of idea
and wow RDA is like a fuel barrel now, no wonder he stop fighting aliens after getting rid of the goulds.
sitting on hammond's chair now without any action might be the reason of his massive weight gain

will continue watching because i am a big fan of the series although i feel the quality is not as good as atlantis or sg1.

this dr.rush gives me the creeps and is quite incompetent, wonder how he can get into the stargate program at the first place. Carter blow up a sun, mckay did god noes how many miracles under the threat of impending death. This RUsh guy only know how to talk, i think even zelenka is better than him

and he have to put his problem into some online games and hope for some random geeks to solve it for him. omg

eli is almost like a less irritating mckay lol. funny guy

spot on. so very BSG-ish.

the pilot was so-so but better than atlantis. 2nd ep is ok, got some sg-1 feel to it.

still no bad-ass alien villain so far.

so the new SG has started...........is RDA in it? one of the reasons i watch SG is because of him, he makes life...................happier........

Episode 4 of SGU out. Darkness.

Quite boring. Honestly did not know (or care) what was going on. They are on the ship and it goes where it wants to go, they're just along for the ride. Lose respect when they show off girl in special space shower and army girl with big cans (and no bra) in tank top & undies. For no reason and so blatant. Sex sells I know but come on.

RDA is not a main in it but he makes appearance from time to time maybe. He was in the pilot.

sex sells alright... but i got a shock of my life when I saw a full frontal scene (with boobies and bushes) in SG1 pilot,
so the "mild" scenes in SGU is nothing already

anyway, you'll be more disappoint in the next episode...

true but it wasn't used in a sexual manner. i dunno how to explain how the sg1 pilot was not blatant camera ogling while SGU was just well lame. the soldier is just an object since they focus on her body - shoulders down with boobs in main focus and you don't see her face.

that's one of the main problems with SGU i can barely tell their characters apart, they're not giving us time to get to know the characters and when that happens, when viewers "don't care" about the character in the show .. they will lose interest in the show.

they learn, they modify, they build, they go for a war and they kick enemy with stylish...

p/s : love to see when got battle on space but BSG battlescene looks more real... check out the galactica when it firing to enemy... lot of ammunition... dunno how the small fighter can escape that rain of bullet...

SG:U is quite good. Love the first 3 episode. Episode 4 abit boring. Hate the self confession video thingy.

The castings just look pretty lame and dull.
Maybe my expection is too high for the show after years of following SG1 & SGA.

SG1 is always the best... O'Neill, Daniel, Sam & Teal'c really kick ass
