i advise to get a jab for tetanus vaccination though. as meningitis C vaccination, you can get it for free from your gp in uk.
Not so sure about your advise of getting the free meningitis jab.

I heard of a case whereby a new student contacted and die from meningitis within the 1st month of entering Uni. If money isn't a problem, I advise getting it here but mind you, it is an expensive jab.

What are the risk of not getting one? As I know, my friends did not get any jabs before leaving for UK.

How much roughly will it be for a meningitis jab?

Another question, my girl friend will be doing her ACCA in UK, 2 years duration. To apply the Visa, does she needs maintenance of 2 years, or 1 year is good enough?

And just got information that the Student Visa is now RM8++, instead of RM 783.

unfortunately no. Services industry is.

you may end up doing something of little relevant to your major field.

the earlier you turn down the firm choice, the quicker the insurance uni can process through, sending you offer letter.

the period to respond usually stated in the uni offer letter, also refer to UCAS too.

Service industry, as in providing services e.g. financial, consulting, legal services, banking, investment, healthcare services, business services etc etc.

UK economy is much rely on services industry.

In engineering field, most engineering firms in UK provide services (consult, plan, draft, implement, design, maintain etc) rather than making them up, hence that was why I said manufacturing is not a major industry.

I am a pharmacist, graduated ages ago.

Hi... I'm applying visa and I find difficulty in obtaining the Student Survey Form.

http://www.vfs-uk-my.com/Appointment/AppSc...tSurveyform.pdf

Is that the latest Student Survey Form?

Most of the forms are updated in 2009 but the link above is only updated in 2008.

Can anyone confirm whether this is the latest Student Survey Form?

Thanks in advance!!

control system? i would assume that is under engineering? as for engineer, most of the graduates start off as graduate engineer, and build their pathway thereafter.

For MBA, i guess high ranking like lancester , manchester should be filled with applicatin .. thus it will unlikely that you will be successful. but for others, there might still chance for you to apply in.

anyway you can try. it costs nothing anyway lol .... except for warwick ...

er ... are you freaking sure ? I have plenty of frens sutdying in UK for engineering course. T

I guess by joining society and participate in group activities, you get to mingle ith them and also you shouldnt be scared of talking with them. As long as you able to send the message, i believe they would understand as english isnt our mouth tongue. Thus its about your personality that matters in the end.

depends on which university.

but even if they're from europe, that doesnt mean they have good english. UK is the only english speaking country in europe, u know. except for maybe ireland...

there are firms that specialise in control system, and of course they do recruit control system engineer, but it depends if there is vacancy etc, if compare to huge firm, which takes new engineer graduate yearly. but with those graduate engineer program, you dont get into specific field until latter time.

they wanna see that u hv sufficient fund for 1 year will do.. that will be asked to calculate and state in the application form actually..
the application fee changes quite fast, as i only paid 783 last week..
