I wonder what is car leg means in english, anyone can help me?

Is it suspension? They said if car accident at front, the "Car Leg" will be "kemek" and cannot be repaired until as good as before and it will affect the stability of the car either high speeding or cornering.

Is it true?

hermm.. sgti, the connector to wheel only absorber, tie rod end (from steering), lower arm etc forgot la..
but if lower arm just replace with new one or get from chop shop cheaper, maybe sgti harder to get coz it's not the same with normal wira/satria/putra..
not so sure either it same or not with wira/satria/putra..

car leg actually means automobile's undercarriage, to be precise.

undercarriage consist of shock absorber, steering tie rod, steering tie rod end, knuckle arm, lower arm, drive shaft, trailing arm, etc...

satria GTI's undercarriage design is exactly like proton wira where the front suspensions are supported by one Suspension Crossmember Front. If replacement to the lower arm does not help, probably the suspension crossmember front is bent too.

the workshops I go to, they have to explain to me properly.. or else show me what they intend to do/repair.. if not able to convey that clearly even in Cantonese etc, or else probably avoid that place.. biggrin.gif

maybe he meant the "member" holding the lower arm in place.. it doesn't move, not a part of the movable suspension, just the anchors to bolt the bushings on to..
