hahah both EU and GU plummet down like crazy.. long EJ as it pierced the 38.2 fibo already.. c if it retraces to 50 ..

Added on September 26, 2008, 12:06 ambad day for me.. i lost 50% of my total profit (thankfully not alot since i started trading like only 2 weeks) today in EU.. going to do one long EJ trade n monitor it to c if long term suits me better

yeap.. i'm actually looking more at experience because i'm very very new.. today i learnt that NEVER trade during news time.. despite me knowing roughly the outcome of the news.. i was unable to withstand the volatility before the news n got stopped out..

LOL...i told you so didnt i?? IT takes heart of STEEL to trade during news...

haha if i had a bigger account with bigger SL then mayb yes i wouldn't mind trading during news... lol.. but lesson learnt the hardway.. and i notice setting SL to +1 pip gets me stopped out VERY VERY often.. mayb i should set it to +1 after 40-50 pips instead of 20 pips

Well i did told u guys dont be over bullish on EU. With a Ill-liquid the market will be ranging most of the time until the 700B issue is resolve, and longing above 4700 put urself into significant risk. It is safer to short above 4700 than longing.

just stay out of EU long above 4700 and Probably stay out of EU shorting below 4700.

i give up on being a position trader.. back to my old method of scalping for 25-80 pips.. no more aiming for 100-200 pips
