which do u think is better? i've tried metatrader & fxcm's demo accts. both r ok. but live acct i hv no idea

type any broker of ur choice and then add the word scam at the back.. it will provide u with some feedback there and choose those that u wish to believe. I've read a lot about fxcm and mostly its negative so i stayed away from it..

Great execution.. no requotes... spread USED to be extremely low until the market went crazy and drive the spread high (higher then mt4 platforms 65% of the time).. Charting is lousy.. its web-based..

depends on each broker.. i paid using bank wire (TT ) .. some accept paypal.. not aware of credit cards..

I'm not saying forex is an easy income but i'm in the learning phase.. i started this account with small amounts in hope it will grow..

Anyway, MT4 charting is good, however can i use oanda with MT4?

i use mt4 to chart and place my orders in oanda... oanda is now in partnership with another platform called fxspyder to provide better functions such as trailing stop etc.. u can test it out..

lol what do u mean nobody prefers to use mt4 as their broker.. in this forum MOST of the traders are on mt4.. I am the first oanda user (i think) on this forum before mph came n join me =)..

for me i used oanda for the tight spread --- 1
instant execution and no requotes --- 2
no fixed units.. i can even buy 1 single unit of EU -- 3
the net capital that they allocated is 40 million.. higher 8 times compared to the requirement of 5 million.. and cftc is about to raise it to 9 million.. --- 4

i think most traders start with mt4 cos it's d most common platform. i started with it until switch to fxcm. trying it out now. but i will be switching back to mt4 for my real trading. my concerns now are :
- SL execution
- spreads
i think these 2 are what traders fear the most ... if the spread goes wild. accts can be wiped out. SL/TP execution also very important ..
best is do a lot of reseacrh b4 decide on which broker to go for. i'm still doing mine..

SL execution for mt4 isn't a big problem.. the problem with mt4 is the requotes part where u buy but then the price has moved therefore requoting u... sometimes u can get requoted about 20 times in a row.. it happens also when ur trying to liquidize ur position.. requotes again..
