If im not mistaken,
spideysam, it is not about the RAM capacity- 512mb when you choose a graphic card. you need to see the model numbers as well, for example : HD4870 512MB Model number first, then memory bandwidth, then the RAM... |

QUOTE(spideysam @ Sep 30 2008, 02:46 AM) ooo ok thx.. but i wont be upgrading tis pc.. plannin get new rig.. but most probably next year.. want know which shop in low yat also best service and affordable.. coz if from port dickson to kl far.. but can get a lot things... i rather go low yat then buy from port dickson shops... not many varieties.. When choosing graphic card, things you need to let people know when asking question is1) Your PSU model and watt 2) budget With these two, i believe most of LYNers can help you to choose your best bang for money GPU.. |

QUOTE(akachester @ Oct 3 2008, 04:16 PM) Been away from PC hardwares for too long as they are killing my pocket but guess i am too tempted to perform some upgrades. 3870x2 better than 4870 w/o AA, but with AA, 4870 beats 3870x2 if im not mistaken.Just wondering here guys, is the 4870 better than the 3870X2? Do you guys have any links to the comparison between both cards? IMO, better take 4870x2 |

QUOTE(woshikurt @ Oct 3 2008, 09:20 PM) You need to be "smart" when buying PC components QUOTE(woshikurt @ Oct 3 2008, 09:35 PM) People likes something new...@bold part there is people who play online gaming(halflife/teamfortress2/CoD4/soon-to-come GTA4/warhead/etc) at high resolution. A mad monster GC(and other parts as well) is required to power up those games at high resolution ( >30 fps of course ) and why 4670 beats 3850 when AA/AF turned on, because their core gpu is not the same |
